The rating was once again down for WWE Raw. The Monday night show scored a 2.9 rating and averaged 3.916 million viewers, down from 4.285 from last week. It is the lowest rating this year for Raw.
Last week’s show scored a 3.07 rating.
The hourly breakdown for this week’s show saw the 8 p.m. hour draw 3.97 million viewers, the 9 p.m. hour with 3.87 million and the final hour with 3.91 million viewers.
Part of the reason for the drop is the NBA playoff games on TNT which included the Chicago Bulls against the Miami Heat which was a close game with the heavily favorited Heat losing. The following game — one of the most entertaining games in the NBA this season — saw the Golden State Warriors against the San Antonio Spurs. Both games drew around 5.5 million viewers.
It’s no surprise that the numbers were down for Raw with the show being flat and lacking much excitement. Then you had the NBA playoffs with a game coming down to the wire featuring the league’s top star (Lebron James) and his team being upset in a thrilling game.
