The rumors can finally be put to rest regarding what is next for Ronda Rousey before she steps into the cage against Miesha Tate at UFC 168 in December. The UFC women’s bantamweight champion confirmed on Facebook that right after she finishes filming of “The Expendables 3”, she will then head right into filming “Fast And The Furious 7”. Here is what Rousey had to say regarding her upcoming schedule.
“Its finally official. After we finish filming Expendables3 I’m flying to Atlanta to film Fast7 before starting my 6 week training camp to defend my UFC title. For those that doubt it can be done, please put your money where your mouths are so my friends can finally get some decent returns betting on me to win.”
The filming of the latest “Fast And The Furious” and the timeframe stated, Rousey will go into full training camp in the middle of November.
The women’s bantamweight champion hasn’t competed since she defeated Liz Carmouche at UFC 157 in February and recently coached opposite Tate on the current season of The Ultimate Fighter.
The latest installment of “Fast 7” will feature the likes of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
