Shocking WWE Talent Released

In what would be considered a surprising release, it has been announced that the WWE has released Kassius Ohno (aka Chris Hero). No reason has been given on the release of Ohno.

Ohno had signed a WWE developmental deal in 2012 and was assigned to NXT. It had been reported that back in July that people in WWE developmental weren’t happy with Ohno due to his reluctance of the strength and conditioning program.

Ohno’s last match with the company took place on Wednesday against Luke Harper, aired this past Wednesday on NXT.

Ohno is going back to the Chris Hero monicker he had before going to the WWE. It didn’t take Hero long to find work as Pro Wrestling Guerilla announced that Hero would return to the company as part of their All Star Weekend 10 this December.

PWS in New Jersey announced Hero vs. Hurricane Helms for their 11/16 event.
