The question going into Bellator 108 was whether Quinton “Rampage” Jackson still had something left to offer the MMA world. Jackson had lost his last three fights in the UFC before becoming a free agent and signing with Bellator.
The former UFC light heavyweight champion was supposed to face Tito Ortiz on November 2, but Ortiz had to bow out of the fight due to injury. Stepping in for Ortiz was UFC veteran Joey Beltran with the fight taking place last night.
Jackson looked solid in the fight mixing in leg kicks, controlling the cage and landing jabs and hooks. With about 20 seconds Jackson landed a knee, got Beltran against the cage and then landed a left hook/right hook combination with the referee stopping the fight with one second left in the first round.
