Rumors have been running rampant on why UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre is taking some time off from the sport. TMZ reported early this morning that St-Pierre was taking the break due his father being on the verge of death and getting an undisclosed woman pregnant, who wants to keep the baby, but the champion doesn’t want her to keep that.

We haven’t heard from directly from the champion, but UFC President Dana White told the Los Angeles Times that he talked to St-Pierre, who denied that the rumors were true.

White said that St-Pierre “is denying those rumors that TMZ is reporting about those two things.” The UFC President didn’t reveal what the reason was for St-Pierre wanting to take some time off.
