Mark Henry made a surprise return last night at Survivor Series. Ryback made an open challenge for any wrestler in the back to come out and face him, with Henry accepting the challenge. “The World’s Strongest Man” defeated Ryback in a short match.

This morning the WWE sent out a press release stating that Henry will be appearing in WWE Studios movie. No date was announced on when filming would start or when the film will hit theatres.

“WWE Studios and Blumhouse Productions announced today a partnership on “Incarnate,” the micro-budget thriller from Blumhouse directed by Brad Peyton (“Journey 2: The Mysterious Island”), scripted by Ronnie Christensen (“Dark Tide”) and starring Aaron Eckhart. WWE Superstar Mark Henry has been cast in a cameo role, and WWE Studios will leverage its extensive multi-platform reach for the film.

Jason Blum (“Paranormal Activity,” “Insidious,” “The Purge” and “Sinister” franchises) is producing the film for Blumhouse which is co-financing the production with IM Global. Michael Luisi, WWE Studios President, is Executive Producing alongside Couper Samuelson, Michael Seitzman, Trevor Engelson, Stuart Ford and Charles Layton. Universal Pictures will distribute the film in the U.S. and Blumhouse International is overseeing foreign rights.

“Incarnate” stars Aaron Eckhart as an unconventional exorcist who taps into the subconscious of a nine-year-old boy played by David Mazouz who is possessed by a powerful, ancient demon. The film is currently shooting.

“WWE Studios is thrilled to partner again with Blumhouse on ‘Incarnate,’” said Michael Luisi, President of WWE Studios.
