Early this morning, UFC Hall of Famer and former light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz was arrested on suspicion of DUI. KTLA News in Los Angeles first reported the news from the California Highway Patrol that Ortiz was arrested at approximately 4:00 a.m. after crashing his 2012 Porsche Panamera into a median on a California’s I-405 expressway near Sepulveda and Santa Monica boulevards going northbound.
The Highway Patrol also stated in a press release that Ortiz had two passengers in the vehicle and no one was injured. The vehicle suffered minor damage. Ortiz was taken to the LAPD-77th Division and booked on $15,000 bail until his release at approximately 8:13 a.m. Monday.
Ortiz signed with Bellator last summer and was supposed to make his debut in November of last year against Rampage Jackson. Ortiz though had to bow out of the fight with a neck injury.
