The co-main event of UFC 170 on Saturday night featuring Daniel Cormier vs Patrick Cummins is quite arguably the most anticipated fight on the card. The light heavyweight fight was made eight days ago when Rashad Evans had to bow out of the fight due to suffering a knee injury in training.
Cummins told UFC President Dana White that while helping train Cormier for the 2004 Olympics, he “broke” Cormier and made him cry. Cormier hasn’t denied that it happened, but you can tell it has agitated him throughout the week.
It came to a head today when they did the pre-fight press conference staredown, when Cormier walked right up to Cummins and shoved him. Cormier then clenched his fist like he was going to punch Cummins, which you can see in the video above.
