First In-Ring Segment:
General Manager Vickie Guerrero is in the middle of the ring, and announces that The Authority has taken the night off. She books a 11-on-3 handicap match for tonight’s main event.
It is now time for the “Great Debate” featuring Paul Heyman and Cesaro on one side of the ring, with Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger on the other side of the ring. There’s a ridiculous amount of post-production on the crowd during this segment. Colter kisses up to Vickie and the WWE Universe, and says that 10 months ago the fans didn’t even know who Cesaro was. He asks Cesaro why he did what he did, as a buzzer goes off and signals the end of his time. Paul Heyman sets in with his “Brock Lesnar conquered the Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania” shtick, which he repeats about ten times, until the buzzer goes off for his time. Colter says he doesn’t care about Brock Lesnar, and calls Heyman a liar and a thief who doesn’t care about anybody but himself. Paul answers him by then repeating “my client Cesaro won the Andre the Giant battle royal at WrestleMania” ten times. Things break down as Zeb breaks his podium and gets in Heyman’s face, telling him to be a man for the first time in his life.
First Match: Cesaro w/Paul Heyman vs. Jack Swagger w/Zeb Colter
Cesaro knocks down his former partner early with an uppercut, but Swagger dumps him over the top rope. Cesaro tries to get back in the ring, but gets blasted with an elbow. Jack measures him for a clotheslines, but is caught with a big uppercut, laying him out.Cesaro swings Swagger into the barricade and fires away with four uppercut strikes. They roll back into the ring and a side headlock is applied for a few minutes. Swagger starts to power out of the hold and clips Cesaro’s leg, planting him with a belly-to-belly suplex. Out of nowhere Cesaro springboards off the ropes with a corkscrew uppercut.
Both guys fight back and forth with right hands, and Swagger hits another suplex and the Swagger Bomb for a close two-count. Cesaro gets a boot to his opponent’s face, and both guys crash to the floor as we cut to a commercial break. When they come back, both guys are on the top turnbuckle, and Cesaro sends Swagger to the floor with a big forearm shiver, following up with a top rope spinning uppercut for a count of two.Swagger locks in the Patriot Lock off a counter, but Cesaro escapes. He hits another belly-to-belly suplex, but can’t pick up the pin. Swagger motions for the finish, but Cesaro kicks him in the gut and hits a big gutwrench powerbomb. The Cesaro Swing does about 15 rotations – much to the fans delight – and Cesaro finishes off the match with a Neutralizer.
The Shield’s music hits and Paul Heyman and Cesaro make a run for it. The Shield comes down and hits a triple powerbomb on Swagger, laying him out. Seth Rollins says Jack failed to adapt, and Roman Reigns claims they are just getting started.

Tamina is now in control of the match, stomping away at Nattie. She hits a Samoan Drop, heads up to the top turnbuckle, but Natalya rolls out of the way. Snuka gets rolled up for a two-count, and Natalya rolls through into a Sharpshooter. Tamina powers out of the hold and superkicks Nattie in the face for the 1-2-3.

Second In-Ring Segment: The Wyatt Family comes down to the ring, and the drop a steel cage down around them. Bray Wyatt says that the fans turned on John Cena on Raw when they picked him to fight all three of them. He tells Cena to stop underestimating him, and he’s more than just words. Bray says they meet at Extreme Rules inside a steel cage, like modern day gladiators fighting for the respect of the people. He climbs to the top of the cage and signs his song to end that segment.
Fourth Match: The Wyatt Family w/Bray Wyatt vs. Cody Rhodes & Goldust
Cody starts by dropkicking Luke’s leg out before it’s off to Goldust to hammer on Rowan. A bulldog drops Erick again and it’s back to Cody as the brothers start working on the arm. Rowan slams him into the mat and Bray gets on the mic to ask if the fans are impressed by what they see. Harper catapults Cody’s throat into the middle rope before it’s back to Rowan to crank on the neck.
Bray is yelling at the fans as Harper puts Cody in the Gator Roll. Rhodes finally fights up and hits the Disaster Kick to bring in Goldust off the hot tag. Goldust dives on both Wyatts as everything breaks down. Harper rolls Goldie up for two but gets caught in a powerslam for another two. Cody goes up top but Luke sends Goldust into the corner to knock Cody to the floor. The discus lariat is good for the pin on Goldust.

Sixth Match: The Shield vs. Bad News Barrett, Alberto Del Rio, Ryback, Damien Sandow and Titus O’Neil
The Shield come out first, through the crowd as usual. The only guys left are Barrett, Titus, del Rio, Sandow and Ryback, so we’re actually going to have a 5-on-3 handicap match.Ryback locks up against Seth Rollins first, actually getting him in a headlock. Rollins shakes off the hold but is leveled by a shoulder block, only to come back with a standing dropkick. In comes big Roman Reigns, who fires away with body shots to Ryback in The Shield’s corner.
Titus O’Neil tags in for his team, as Ryback has had enough, but he also gets worked over by the trio. Titus finally powers Ambrose into the heel corner, and in comes Bad News Barrett. Ambrose actually overpowers him and now all hell breaks loose as all eight guys start to brawl around the ring. After a commercial break, Bad News has Ambrose in a headlock in the middle of the ring. Dean fights back with right hands, but runs into a big boot from Barrett.Alberto del Rio tags in for the first time, and puts the boots to Ambrose. He hits a nice step-up enzuigiri and tosses Dean to the floor so Ryback can get in a few cheap shots. Ryback actually tags in now and hits a big splash on Ambrose for a two-count. He goes into a headlock for several minutes, followed by a massive spinebuster, but Rollins breaks up the pin and again the apron empties.
Ryback misses the meathook clothesline, del Rio gets tossed through the second rope, and Ambrose makes the hot tag to Roman Reigns, which gets a great non-produced pop from the fans. Reigns with the Superman Punch on Titus, and a Samoan Drop on Ryback. Sit-down slam on Sandow, but Ryback saves the match. And…we’re back to chaos. The Shield clear the ring of all the heels and head to the floor to continue beating down everyone. Reigns with a dropkick to Sandow, who I believe is the legal man. Barrett and del Rio get on the apron and get in Reigns’ face, but they both shrug them off and start walking up the ramp, retreating from the match. Barrett gets away, but Reigns comes out of nowhere with a Superman Punch on ADR.
Damien Sandow is the lone wolf for his time, and turns around into a massive spear from Roman Reigns. 1…2…and 3.
After the match, Titus O’Neil gets speared by Reigns. Ryback gets tosses into the ring – he gets a spear from Reigns. Ryback planted with a triple powerbomb, and The Shield stands tall to send Smackdown off the air.
Winner: The Shield
