TNA Wrestling Spoilers For Thursday May 1 And May 8 Shows

TNA Wrestling taped a full edition of Impact for the Thursday show and a partial taping for the May 8 show. The tapings took place at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Here is the full spoilers for the May 1 taping.

May 1 Spoilers

MVP issued an endurance challenge to Gunner, Mr. Anderson, and Bobby Roode. After the cards were drawn, it was determined that Gunner would face Anderson, then the winner would face Roode, and the winner of that match would challenge Eric Young for the TNA Title on Impact.

-Gunner beat Mr. Anderson when James Storm’s interference backfired

-Bobby Roode beat Gunner

MVP barred Bully Ray and Dixie Carter from the Impact Zone after Bully fought through security guards with the goal of powerbombing her through a table.

-Willow beat James Storm by DQ when Storm shoved the referee

-The Wolves and Sanada defeated BroMans and DJ Z

-Eric Young defeated Bobby Roode to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship

May 8 Partial Spoilers

-Knux beat Kazarian. Knux was accompanied by Rebel, a clown, two men on stilts, and a masked muscle man

-Eric Young promised to defend the title every single week. He said that if the company didn’t book him a title match he would make his own. Bobby Roode asked for a rematch and Young eventually agreed

-Ethan Carter III beat Kurt Angle

MVP later stated that the match would not happen and that the wrestlers do not book themselves. He teased a blockbuster announcement for Young’s opponent at Slammiversary. Roode came out and ended up brawling with MVP.

In matches taped for Xplosion, Gail Kim beat Velvet Sky, and Austin Aries beat Tigre Uno.

The rest of the May 8 edition of Impact will be taped this evening.
