WWE releases have been scarce lately as the company has just been letting contracts expire. PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE has released Mason Ryan, Shaul Guerrero, Oliver Grey and Danny Burch.
Ryan is the most notable name of the bunch as he was brought up to the main roster and was in the NEXUS group when CM Punk was the leader of the group. The Welsh native was then sent to NXT, but hadn’t been competing for them recently. Ryan’s last match with the company was at the last set of NXT TV tapings, losing to Tyson Kidd.
Guerrero is the daughter of her late father Eddie and her mother Vickie. She was in her second run in the company, but wasn’t used in this run. Grey had just returned from a knee injury and was the former tag team partner of current NXT heavyweight champion Adrian Neville. Burch started with the company in 2011, debuted on NXT last year, but was sparingly used.
