WWE Pre-Show:

Tonight’s WWE Raw Pre-show kicks off with fans filing into the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. Josh Mathews, Booker T and Alex Riley are joined by Jimmy Hart tonight. Hart thanks everyone for watching Legends House. Booker confirms The Wyatt Family vs. The Usos and John Cena for tonight. Riley talks about the horror show with Kane continuing. The panel talks about the Kane vs. Daniel Bryan feud. They talk about Evolution and The Shield before leading us to a video package from last week.

The panel talks more about The Shield and Evolution. We go to the ring where Kofi Kingston and Titus O’Neil are going at it for Superstars. We go back to the panel and Booker does a bad Jamaican accent. The panel wastes more time and we go back to the ring where Kofi gets the win. Jerry Lawler interviews Kofi up on the stage. Lawler brings up Rusev. Kofi doesn’t want to talk about the past. He asks if anyone in Greenville can cook him a meal because he’s hungry. Kofi says he’s going to celebrate. Damien Sandow interrupts the panel. Sandow jokes about not getting used and has his microphone cut. He’s irritated. Sandow talks into Mathews’ mic and says someone in the back must be afraid. Sandow says it’s a public company and someone must be worried. Sandow says mistakes happen and walks off. Mathews is surprised as we go to Network promos.

We come back to the panel with hype for Legends House and the WWE Network referral program. We see Bray Wyatt‘s promo from last week. Renee Young is backstage with John Cena and The Usos now. Cena gets hype and rants about teaming with The Usos. The Usos are excited also. The theme is words that start with “G” it appears. We go back to the panel and get more Network commercials. We get a video package for Kane and Daniel Bryan. The panel hypes tonight’s show some more. Evolution will be here. Jimmy Hart takes some photos with fans passing by. We see Michael Cole making his way out to commentary. The Shield is backstage going over things for tonight. JBL is out next to a big pop. Jerry Lawler is out last as the pre-show goes off the air.

WWE Monday Night Raw:

First In-Ring Segment: Shield is in the ring and not very happy to get things going. Ambrose admits that they took a beating last week and went down, but tonight they’re standing tall in this ring. Rollins says they’re running at Evolution, and if Evolution is made up of men, they’ll accept a challenge for a rematch. Evolution used to be really good, but they’re not what they once were because they can’t evolve to beat the Shield.Reigns shakes his head and Seth is surprised he has something to say. Roman takes the mic and says Evolution victimized his brothers a week ago. All of that made him realize that it’s all Evolution has. If that’s all they have, then they have a serious problem. Shield can serve justice cold and slowly and they’ll teach Evolution to believe in payback, the Shield, and in Roman Reigns. Not exactly great promo work there from Roman.

Evolution’s limo is seen arriving with Shield still watching. HHH and company get out of the limo and Shield sprints to the back. HHH signs some papers and Shield is here for the fight. Security quickly breaks it up but Evolution is left laying on the concrete with HHH holding his head.

First Match: Rob Van Dam vs. Jack Swagger w/Zeb Colter

We come back from a break with Zeb telling the fans to sit there and shut up. Last week he was reading the Bill of Rights when Adam Rose interrupted him. Rose and his band of hippies and Rocky Horror Picture Show rejects aren’t American, so Adam needs to keep his distance. The bell rings and here come Adam Rose and his entourage. Rose comes to the ring and gets on the middle rope but falls onto the party when Swagger swings. JBL: “All we need is Kurrgan and the Oddities!” Rose and company leave, allowing Van Dam to hit a superkick and the Five Star for the pin.

Winner: Rob Van Dam

We get a inside look at the WWE Divas Champion Paige. She will be in action next and Raw heads to commercial break.

We get a vignette for NXT Superstar Bo Dallas

Second Match: Paige vs. Alicia Fox

Alicia immediately goes onto the attack on Paige. Fox hits a backbreaker, and then throws her to the outside. Alicia goes to the outside and rams Paige into the apron. Paige is rolled into the ring and is covered for a two count. Fox hits a suplex with a bridge but only gets a two count. Paige is then put in a headlock by Fox. Alicia then hits a another backbreaker, and begins to flaunt for the crowd. Alicia goes for a cover but only gets a two count. Alicia puts Paige in a surfboard stretch, and then plants Paige face first into the ground. Paige is then put into another headlock. Paige however reverses the headlock into the Paige Turner for the three count.

Paige celebrates as Alicia tears everything apart from ringside.

Winner: Paige

We get a recap of the backstage segments with Daniel Bryan, Brie Bella, Stephanie McMahon and Kane from last weeks Raw.

Second In-Ring Segment:

We return with Daniel Bryan in the ring. Daniel Bryan says its been a long road to get to the moment he is in right now. He says ever since Summerslam he knew it would be an uphill battle. He says he was right but it has been a little steeper than he thought it would be. He says that the Authority threw everything at him, but him and the Yes Movement beat the odds. He says that when you are champion, you get a giant target on his back. He says when he came back, he got the worst beating of my life. He says that he was determined to beat Kane, and at Extreme Rules he did that. He says that with all of this their comes a price. He says that this Thursday he has to have neck surgery. He says that there is a chance that his career is over, but the fact is he will be back.

Third Match: John Cena & The Usos vs. The Wyatt Family

Harper and Jey Uso start the match off. Jey is thrown into the corner, but Jey fights back with a bunch of shots to the face. Harper is taken down and is pinned for a two count. Harper gets up and hits a drop kick. Rowan is tagged in and hits a backbreaker. Rowan begins to choke Jey in the ropes, and then tags in Bray. Bray begins to stomp Jey in the corner, and then tags in Harper. Harper continues the beat down, and then throws Jey into the corner. Harper however misses a splash and Jimmy gets a tag. Jimmy hits a samoan drop and then a corkscrew splash on Harper. Bray and Rowan distract Jimmy, which leads to Harper hitting a big boot on Jimmy.

Bray is tagged in and begins to beat down Jimmy in the corner. Bray hits a big uppercut, and then tags in Harper. Harper hits a knee to the face, and goes for the cover but only gets a two count. Jimmy is then put into a headlock, and Jimmy begins to fight out. Harper then throws Jimmy onto the mat and tags in Rowan. Rowan hits a backbreaker, and then begins to stomp on Jimmy in between the ropes. Bray is then tagged in. Jimmy fights back and tries to get some offense, but is taken down with a splash. Bray bounces off the ropes but Jimmy hits a big sidekick. Cena makes the tag and so does Rowan. Cena begins his comeback. Chaos begins, with everyone being taken out. Cena locks in the STF but Bray breaks it up with a splash. Bray goes for the Sister Abagail but the Usos take him out with superkicks. The Usos then hit suicide dives on Bray and Harper on the outside. Cena hits the AA on Rowan and gets the three count.

Bray gets a mic in the ring and tells John Cena thank you. He says he thanks him for making him realize what he has to do. He then says to follow the buzzards. The camera cuts.

Winner: John Cena & The Usos

Third In-Ring Segment:

We return with Evolution making their way to the ring. Orton says that he has enough, and he knows Batista has had enough as well. He says its time to put the Hounds of Justice to sleep. Triple H says maybe its time for them to finish the Shield off. He says he knows how good they are, but they got to big for themselves. He says  that the ambush tonight was the last straw. He says they will get their rematch at Payback, but it will be different. He says they will pick each and every one of them a part. He says they will take out Ambrose, then Rollins, and then make an example out of Roman Reigns. The Shield then ambush Evolution. The Shield take out Evolution as the Evolution retreats. Batista then says he has had enough, and then says that he wants Roman Reigns tonight.

Fourth Match: Nikki Bella vs. Natalya

Nikki and Natalya lock up, with Nikki getting the upper hand. Natalya goes for a kick but is caught by Nikki. Both girls get out and stare each other down. Nikki then begins to lay heavy blows into Natalya. Nikki comes off the second rope and takes down Natalya. Both girls get up and begin slapping each other. Natalya catches Nikki into an abdominal stretch. Nikki reverses it into one of her own, but Natalya pushes her off. Nikki then gets on top of Natalya and begins to beat her down. Both girls exchange roll ups until Nikki counters of Natalya’s roll ups into one of her own for the three count.

Winner: Nikki Bella

Fifth Match: Sheamus vs. Curtis Axel w/Ryback

Axel gets the non-title match here by winning a coin flip. Sheamus hammers away to start and drops a knee to the head for two. Axel comes back with a kick to the face and a running knee lift for two of his own. A charge in the corner hits Sheamus’ boot and he goes up top, only to get crotched down onto the ropes. Curtis gets two more off a neckbreaker from the top but a dropkick is countered into the Cloverleaf to make Axel tap.

Ryback jumps Sheamus post match and I think Sheamus is in action again after a break.

Winner: Sheamus

Sixth Match: Sheamus vs. Ryback w/Curtis Axel

Joined in progress with Ryback holding Sheamus in a chinlock. A powerslam gets two on Sheamus but he’s able to get his knees up to block a splash. Sheamus hammers away in the corner and nails the running ax handles to the face. Ryback sends him to the apron but that just allows Sheamus to hit the ten forearms. They don’t have a ton of effect though as Ryback grabs that over the shoulder Stunner for a close two. The Meathook is countered into White Noise for two more. Brogue Kick misses and Ryback grabs a spinebuster for two, only to walk into a running powerslam for two. Sheamus misses a swing at Axel, allowing the Meathook to put him down. Shell Shock doesn’t work and the Brogue Kick is finally good for the pin .

Winner: Sheamus

Sheamus will take on Cesaro on WWE Main Event

Fourth In-Ring Segment

Here’s Stephanie with something to say. She talks about Daniel telling us a story earlier tonight about climbing a mountain to reach his goal. Bryan won the title at Wrestlemania and then defeated the demon at Extreme Rules, but now it means he has to have neck surgery. All that proves is one thing: Bryan is simply not an A+ player. His body just couldn’t take it and that’s why Stephanie tried to protect him all these months. However, she has to do what’s best for business and there’s no way of knowing how this surgery is going to go.

Stephanie tells Daniel to come out and see her face to face but here’s Kane instead. Kane comes out, dragging Bryan’s unconscious body. Bryan’s shirt is ripped and his head looks to be slightly cut. There’s your injury angle to get him off television and make Kane look good in the process. Bryan is loaded onto a stretcher as Brie and Stephanie look on in concern.

Seventh Match: Fandango w/Layla vs. Dolph Ziggler

Dolph and Fandango lock up, with Ziggler hitting a shoulder block,  but Fandango then hits two arm drags. Both men get up and Dolph hits a dropkick. Fandango gets up however and throws Ziggler over the top rope. Fandango rolls Ziggler into the ring and covers him for a two count. Fandango continues the assault with an uppercut. Ziggler tries to fight back, but Fandango hits a suplex for a two count. Ziggler is then put in a headlock. Ziggler gets out with a jaw breaker, and then hits a big elbow to the face. Ziggler then hits 10 punches in the corner, and then follows it with a neck breaker.

Ziggler goes for the Fame-Asser, but Fandango hits a modified suplex for a two count. Ziggler then reverses the leg drop, and then hits the Fame-Asser but only gets a two count. Ziggler is then distracted by Layla and then takes a kick to the face.Fandango covers Ziggler but he kicks out. Fandango then is slightly distracted by Layla and Ziggler hits the Zig Zag for the three count.

Fandango says that he may have lost, but he knows he is the real winner. He then says Dolph may have won but Layla won something more important; his heart. He then says he loves her, and they begin to make out in the ring. We go to commercial break.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

Fifth In-Ring Segment:

Here’s Jim Duggan, likely to promote Legends House. He says he’s sure we’re all watching the show but here’s Lana to interrupt. She says Duggan is just like England and America: a once great nation that has become a joke. China now has the biggest economy in the world and Rusev is proud to represent Vladimir Putin.

Duggan doesn’t take kindly to this and starts a USA chant. Lana gives Duggan a chance to beg but Duggan swings the board. Rusev easily takes it away and breaks the board over his knee. Lana says crush but here’s Big E. for the attempted save. Rusev easily dispatches Big E. and kicks him to the floor before standing tall.

Eight Match: Cody Rhodes w/Goldust vs. Damien Sandow

Cody and Sandow lock up, with Cody taking him down. Sandow goes for an arm drag, but Cody takes him down. Cody then begins to work the arm, but Sandow fights back. Cody is thrown into the corner, but leaps up and hits a roll up for a two count. Cody then hits a kick to the head, and then goes for the Disaster Kick, but Sandow gets out of the way. Sandow then begins to beat down Cody. Sandow then puts Cody into a headlock. Cody gets out and hits a bridge for a two count. Sandow then fights back and hits a shot to the head when Cody is locked into the ropes. Sandow then hits the Russian leg sweep, but then misses the Elbow of Disdain. Sandow keeps at it on Cody, and then hits the Elbow of Disdain. Cody is then put in the headlock. Cody however fights back and begins his comeback sequence. Cody goes for Cross Rhodes, but Sandow gets out. Cody then hits a rake to the eyes when the ref was distracted by Goldust, and then hits the Disaster Kick and gets the three count

Winner: Cody Rhodes

The Wyatts appear and Bray talks about how Cena’s actions don’t surprise him anymore because Cena is a human. All humans are flawed by their own greed and actions, preventing them from thriving in this paradise. Cena is just like them with his boundless narcissism, leading him right to Bray. Where does this end though?

Does Cena want to capture the head of the beast for his mantle? How can you do that when the beast is waiting for you? When mountains crumble and the oceans boil, Bray Wyatt will be left standing. Where will John Cena stand? How far is he willing to go to take the devil down? Time to sing but I think that was meant to set up a last man standing match at Payback.

John Cena will answer Bray Wyatt’s challenge to WWE Payback on Friday Night SmackDown.

Ninth Match: Roman Regins vs. Batista

Both men lock up, with Batista being shoved into the corner. They lock up again in the middle of the ring, but Batista hits a knee to the gut. Batista then hits multiple shoulder thrusts in the corner, but then Reigns reverses and hits a bunch of shoulder thrusts in a row. Both men go to the outside and Reigns bounces Batista off of the steel steps. Batista is rolled back in the ring, and Roman Reigns goes for a clothesline. Reigns misses and now Batista is firmly in control. Reigns fights back with a bunch of headbutts. Reigns then hits a big clothesline, and both members of Evolution come on the apron. As does the Shield, and the match continues. Reigns hits a clothesline in the corner, and then goes to the outside to hit the jumping dropkick. Ambrose and Rollins take out Evolution. Reigns hits the kick and goes for the superman punch. Triple H takes Reigns to the outside and this match is over.

The Shield get the upper hand until Stephanie comes out and calls out the entire roster to beat down the Shield. Reigns somehow get a spear on Triple H, and then Ambrose and Rollins come in with chairs and clear out the ring! Ambrose hits the Dirty Deeds on a chair on Fandango, and then Rollins hits the Curb Stomp on Axel onto a steel chair. Reigns then superman punches Slater, and then spears Ryback. The Shield then triple powerbomb Ryback, making a statement and standing tall in the middle of the ring.
