Ring Of Honor Announces Change To “War Of The Worlds” Card

Cedric Alexander Laid Out

Ring Of Honor announced earlier today that Cedric Alexander will not be able to complete at the “War of the Worlds” show on Saturday in New York City. Alexander had arguably his biggest win in ROH at “Global Wars” on Saturday defeating Roderick Strong. After the match the rest of the group, “Decade” would hit the ring and send Alexander through four folding chairs. He was attended to after the match.

I was in attendance at this show and there didn’t seem to be any extra amount of time taken when Alexander was tended too after the match. No injury is listed in the story on the Ring of Honor website. A timetable hasn’t been given for his return.

Alexander was scheduled to face “Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion. ROH has said Okada will still wrestle on the show, but have not announced a replacement at this time.
