Video Of The Ultimate Fighter Controversy


Last night’s edition of The Ultimate Fighter was hyped as having controversy on it. It sure as heck did. On last night’s show, Roger Zapata from Team BJ Penn and Ian Stephens from Team Frankie Edgar. The fight after two rounds ended up being tied and went to a sudden death third round.

Here is the video that started with the controversy. The referee for the fight was Steve Mazzagatti.

Even with the point deduction, Zapata was given the victory as two judges scored the round a draw while the other scored it 10-8 for Stephens. Technically that would make the fight a majority draw. UFC president Dana White explains this in the video below.
