We get a promo video for TNA Bound for Glory being held in Tokyo, Japan.
Dixie Carter is walking backstage and says tonight should be a great night to be Dixie Carter.
First In-Ring Segment:
MVP comes out to commemorate Bobby Lashley’s title win, and MVP says it took a bit long but the world is now theirs, so they should get to business. He expects Eric Young to beg for his release, but Eric comes out and says he wants an extension because he still needs to take out the trash. Eric rushes the ring but King and Lashley stomp him, then MVP hits him with his crutches before Bobby Roode makes the save. Roode jumps the guardrail and hits MVP and King with a crutch, then they run for it but Roode screams at them to come back.
Back from a break with Roode talking about signing his contract on the same day as Eric Young and how they both have TNA in their blood. Eric Young has spent the last seven years fighting for the love of wrestling and Roode says they both want the title. They want their company back, because that’s what TNA originals say to heel stables on this show. Roode is back to fight for what he loves and doesn’t care what MVP does.
MVP asks to get in the ring and be civilized. The boss says every action has a reaction and Roode’s actions have earned a reaction from MVP. In his capacity as the boss, Roode is officially….interrupted by a guy in a suit. His name is Mr. Armstrong and he’s a member of the board of directors. In a Texas accent, he says MVP is no longer Director of Wrestling Operations and his replacement will be here tonight. Roode nails MVP.
The Menagerie gets a phone call. Apparently they have to win a title or the family business is going under. Crazy Steve is going to win the X-Division Title tonight. The Bro Mans come in and say they’re getting the shot because they speak strong style. An unmasked Manik comes in and says he’s getting the shot. He puts on the mask and says Steve has something on his face.
Back from break Dixie Carter and Rockstar Spud was shown in the locker room. Carter said it’s good to see MVP get his ramifications for the decisions he’s been making. Carter says that she can’t wait to hear what the decision will be because she knows that she will have full control of her company again
Second Match: Fatal Four Way Match for the TNA X Division Championship
Sanada (c) vs. Crazy Steve vs. Manik vs. DJ Zema Ion
DJ Z, Manik, and Crazy Steve all make their case for a X Division title match, with Knux saying they need to make money, and championships make money. Zema makes fun of him and says he deserves it, but Manik walks over and mocks Zema before saying he wants in. Sanada meets them in the ring and says if they all want a title match, they got it, and says they will have a four corners match right now.
We get a few near falls before Manik hits a hurricanrana, then he goes for a surfboard stretch but Steve tries to attack him. Manik blocks him and puts him in an abdominal stretch, then Zema hits him from behind and whips him but Manik sends him out to the floor. Manik backdrops Steve onto Sanada and Zema, then he takes them down with a crossbody on the floor before Zema hits Steve with a springboard tornado DDT. Zema sets him up top but Manik runs in and hits a Tower of Doom spot, then Sanada catches Zema with a double underhook suplex for the win.
Winner: Still TNA X Division Champion Sanada
Back from break MVP is deeply upset with the announcement and at Dixie Carter. Bram and Magnus were shown backstage and they’re hyped for the Monster Ball Match. Bram & Magnus say this is nothing new to them and they live for this. They also said this match reminds them of a Friday night in England.
Second In-Ring Segment:
Dixie Carter takes the news of MVP’s firing well, and says she is excited because it must mean she is now back in charge. Rockstar Spud tells her she got back what she deserves, and she makes him get a good bottle of champagne before they head out to the ring. Dixie talks about all of the wrestlers who tried to screw her over, including MVP, who turned out to be another guy who turned his back on the fans. She says this is her company and she does what is right, then Earl Sullivan Armstrong comes out and says he has bad news. Earl says he was going to name a new person in charge, but it’s not Dixie, and the new hire will be here soon.
Dixie flips out and dumps champagne on him, then she screams about this still being her company and says they will get it over her dead body. Bully Ray comes out and says he is going to kick Spud in the face and drink her champagne, then she knows what comes next. Dixie screams at the fans to shut up, then she tries to bribe him with $200,000 and he asks the fans what he should do. Bully says he still wants to put her through a table, then EC3 runs in but Bully throws him out of the ring and sends Spud after him. Bully grabs Dixie and puts her on his shoulder, but Spud runs in and gets rid of the table before Dixie escapes with EC3.
Back from break Dixie Carter runs away. Bully Ray says that he is “this clsose”. He said he will not rest until he puts Dixie Carter through a table as he promised every wrestling fan he would.
Third Match: James Strom vs. Mr. Anderson
It’s a brawl on the floor to start as the announcers speculate about who the new boss might be. They fight into the ring and the swinging neckbreaker puts Storm down but Anderson might have hurt his shoulder. Closing Time and a Backstabber get two for Storm but he misses the Last Call. The Mic Check is countered by a grabbed rope and the Last Call gives Storm the pin
Winner: James Storm
Back from break Gunner & Samuel Shaw are at the Insane Asylum. Gunner says that the doctors have released him under one condition he has to be under care of Gunner. James Storm starts to bully Sanada. Ethan Carter III gets into a brawl with Tommy Dreamer. They head to the stage Ethan Carter III gets the advantage of Tommy Dreamer and gives him a body slam. EC3 rips off the mat at the ringside area. Dreamer gives EC3 a back bodydrop. EC3 throws Dreamer to the steps. Dreamer throws EC3 to the steps. Dreamer grabs a chair and whacks him with it. EC3 counters and throws Dreamer to the ring post. They got to the ring and the referees come out to seperate them from each other.
Fourth Match: Tag Team Monster Ball Match
Bram & Magnus vs. Willow & Abyss
Monster’s Ball meaning anything goes and weapons are encouraged. Abyss hammers on Bram to start and knocks him out to the floor, leaving the other two in the ring to brawl. Abyss sets up a barbed wire board between the ring and barricade but stops to throw weapons into the ring. The Brits hammer away with trashcans but Willow comes back with a double clothesline. Whisper in the Wind drops Magnus and a trashcan to the head puts Bram down. The Swanton misses but Abyss finds Janice. As usual though it gets stuck in the turnbuckle before any murder can take place.
Bram is busted open but he’s able to handcuff Abyss to the barricade. The double teaming ensues on Willow but Abyss breaks the cuffs and makes a save. Magnus lays him out with a trashcan, only to have Willow makes the save with a kendo stick and Twists of Fate all around. Magnus throws the chair to knocks Willow off the top and through the barbed wire in a big crash. Abyss has thumbtacks and, after avoiding a shot from Janice, chokeslams Magnus down onto them. Bram nails Abyss in the ribs with Janice for the pin.
Winner: Bram & Magnus
Third In-Ring Segment:
The lawyer comes out and announces Kurt Angle as the new Director because….well who else was it going to be? Angle says it’s time for him to give back but here’s the trio to interrupt. MVP can’t believe that this is his replacement and violence is threatened, but Angle shouts that HE’S THE FREAKING BOSS. Angle makes Lashley vs. Young II for next week and reinstates Bobby Roode. The brawl is on to end the show.
