Chael Sonnen Has Until July 17 To Appeal Complaint From NSAC

Chael Sonnen has until July 17 to appeal the complaint against him from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Sonnen is subjected to a maximum fine of $250,000, expenses related to the complaint and the requirement that Sonnen provides the commission with a clean drug test upon his next licensing application.

NSAC sent Sonnen the complaint by certified mail on June 27 and has 20 days to respond to the complaints. The three-time UFC title challenger failed his first random drug test on June 10 and the second test failure occurred on June 29.
