Chael Sonnen has until July 17 to appeal the complaint against him from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
Sonnen is subjected to a maximum fine of $250,000, expenses related to the complaint and the requirement that Sonnen provides the commission with a clean drug test upon his next licensing application.
NSAC sent Sonnen the complaint by certified mail on June 27 and has 20 days to respond to the complaints. The three-time UFC title challenger failed his first random drug test on June 10 and the second test failure occurred on June 29.
