Invicta FC To Make Their UFC Fight Pass Debut With Two Title Fights

Fans have been wondering when all-women’s promotion Invicta FC would be returning. During a conference call today, UFC chief content officer Marshall Zelaznik announced that Invicta will make their debut on UFC Fight Pass with Invicta FC 8 on Saturday, September 6 in Kansas City.

Invicta FC president Shannon Knapp was also on the call and announced that the main event will be Michelle Waterson defending her Invicta atomweight title against Yasuko Tamada. In the co-main event for the vacant strawweight title, Stephanie Eggink faces off against Katja Kankaanpaa.

Waterson captured the title at Invicta FC 5 when she defeated Jessica Penne. “The Karate Hottie” will look to extend her winning streak to six.

Tamada is making her Invicta FC debut. She has been fighting exclusively in her home country of Japan, including the Jewels and Deep promotions. Tamada will be looking to extend her winning to four with a victory over Waterson.
