So far, Ronda Rousey has steamrolled through the competition in the UFC. But there is a worthy opponent on the way with the company today signing unbeaten bantamweight Holly Holm.
UFC President Dana White broke the news on Twitter:

The two sides had spoken earlier this year but were far apart on salary demands made by Holm and her manager Lenny Franquez if she was to get a title show against Rousey.
White at the time was upset and said that he had passed on signing her. But cooler heads finally prevailed and once they got back to the negotiating table, a deal was reached.
The 32-year-old Holm is a perfect 7-0 so far in her MMA career, coming off a TKO victory against Juliana Werner this past April at Legacy 30. However, she did suffer a broken arm in the fight.
The ex-champion boxer will reportedly see a doctor next Tuesday to get an update on her arm and when she can next fight. The hope is that she can make her UFC debut in October or November.
Even though Holm could present the stiffest competition for Rousey and the UFC bantamweight championship, Fresquez has already said that Holm will not get an immediate title shot.
