World Series Of Fighting Draws The Highest Rating In Company History

The World Series of Fighting made their debut on NBC this past Saturday airing their 11th show. The show aired at 4 p.m. ET, so what the rating was going to be was unknown since MMA has never aired that early on network television.

The show was a rousing success as the event drew 906,000 viewers, which is the highest number the company has ever drawn. WSOF shows have averaged around 200,000 viewers, with a company high 365,000 viewers for WSOF 10 on June 21.

In the main event of the show, Justin Gaethje defeated Nick Newell to retain lightweight title. The show also saw Jon Fitch defeat Dennis Hallman in the co-main event and in a featured bout, Melvin Guillard defeated Gesias Cavalcante.

World Series of Fighting will return to NBC on Saturday, December 27.
