Cris Cyborg Dropping To 135, Make Debut In December

Could MMA fans be one step closer to a Cris Cyborg vs Ronda Rousey fight inside the octagon?

MMAJunkie.com is reported and has confirmed that Cyborg will be making her bantamweight debut at a Invicta FC card in December. No opponent has been announced at this time. The show will air on UFC Fight Pass.

Cyborg, who is the Invicta featherweight champion hasn’t competed in a MMA fight since July of 2013 defeating Marloes Coenen by fourth round stoppage. Her manager, George Prajin told MMAJunkie that noted performance and conditioning specialist Tony Aponte will be helping Cyborg make the cut to 135 pounds.

Prajin also stated that Cyborg will head down to Thailand to work on her striking and start the weight cutting process.

Will we see Cyborg vs Rousey in 2015?
