First In-Ring Segment:
Main Event opens up with The Miz coming down to the ring. Miz says that he has an announcement to make right now. Miz then reads a letter, where he mocks Lebron James announcement of his return Cleveland. Miz instead says that he is leaving Cleveland, as there are better places to grow up and live, such as Hollywood. Miz says that he is going to win the Intercontinental Championship, and that he is not just from Cleveland, but he is a star. Out comes Sheamus.
Sbeamus says that if he is lucky, he hopes that Miz can take his talents elsewhere, and never come back. Miz says that Sheamus is jealous of the money maker, but Sheamus says that its the opposite of that, and that he is going to kick the “moneymaker” off of Miz’s shoulders. Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick but Miz gets out and retreats.
First Match: Emma vs. Cameron
Emma and Cameron lock up, with Cameron pushing Emma in the corner. Emma gets out, and then does the same thing to Cameron. Cameron gets out, but Emma takes her down right away. Emma runs at the a downed Cameron, but Cameron get her feet up in Emma’s face. Cameron is now in control. Cameron puts Emma in an abdominal stretch, but Emma gets out and begins her come back. Cameron however fights back, throwing Emma to the outside. Emma is thrown back in the ring, and Cameron gets caught with a roll up for the three count.
Cameron attacks Emma after the match, and Emma makes the save. Naomi stands tall as Cameron retreats.
Second Match: Rybaxel vs. Big E & Kofi Kingston
Kofi and Axel start the match off. Axel gets control early, keeping Kofi grounded. Kofi however fights back, hitting a kick to the chest. Big E is tagged in, and Axel tries to take him down, but Big E blocks it. Big E drives Axel onto the mat, and Ryback is tagged in. Ryback immediately takes Big E down, hitting multiple kicks in the corner. Ryback then puts Big E into a headlock. Big E gets out and hits a shoulder block. Big E then hits three back breakers in a row. Big E makes the pin fall but Ryback kicks out at two. Kofi is tagged in. Kofi and Big E clean house, and they are in control as we go to commercial break.
We return with Big E in control over Curtis Axel. Big E hits the splash, and then calls for the Big Ending. Axel rolls to the outside, and Big E follows. Big E ends up getting distracted by Ryback, and Axel takes advantage. Ryback is tagged in and is now in control. Axel is tagged back in and puts Big E in a headlock. Big E gets out, but Axel stays in control with a running knee to the head. Ryback is tagged in. Big E finally makes separation, and Kofi is tagged in. Axel is tagged in as well and Kofi begins his come back. Kofi ends it with a cross body, but Ryback breaks up the pinfall. Ryback is then taken out, and Kofi hits the Trouble in Paradise for the three count.
Winner: Big E & Kofi Kingston
We are given a preview of the Fatal Four Way match for Battleground.
Third Match: Sheamus vs. The Miz
We come back for tonight’s non-title main event. They lock up and go at it to start the match. Sheamus with an early shoulder that sends Miz down in the corner. More time wasting by Miz. He ducks another shot and goes to the floor as fans boo him. Miz comes back in and goes to work on Sheamus. Miz unloads in the corner but Sheamus comes fighting right back.
Miz avoids the forearm shots to the chest at one point and escapes to the floor again. Miz gets a cheap shot coming back in the ring and unloads on Sheamus again. Sheamus runs into a big boot. Miz nails the big clothesline in the corner. Miz goes to the top but Sheamus decks him in mid-air. Sheamus tosses Miz to the apron and hits the forearm shots to the chest. Miz wastes more time and runs around the ring. Sheamus clubs him on the floor. Miz ends up dropkicking Sheamus off the apron. Miz throws him into the barrier and goes back in to wait on the count out. More back and forth in the ring. Sheamus blocks the DDT. Sheamus with more offense. The stuff with Miz continuously protecting his face is getting old already. Miz blocks a Brogue Kick but Sheamus rolls him up for the win.
