UFC Fight Night 46 Results: Gunnar Nelson Remains Undefeated

Gunnar Nelson was undefeated in 13 fights heading into his co-main event fight against Zak Cummings at UFC Fight Night 46. With a victory on Saturday night, Nelson could get a big fight next.

The fight starts with Cummings throwing an inside leg kick. Nelson lands a right hand and both guys tussling for position. Nelson lands a right hand. Cummings comes right back with a right hand of his own. Nelson with a right hand and a body kick. Nelson misses a right hand and Cummings goes underneath trying for a takedown.

Cummings with a short uppercut. Nelson just misses a head kick. Cummings misses a flying knee, but lands a left hand. Cummings lands some left hands with Nelson against the cage.

Round two starts with Cummings pressuring Nelson against the cage. Cummings landing left hands and elbows before Nelson reverses, but Cummings reverses back. Cummings faints a uppercut and lands a straight left hand.

Nelson lands a straight hand. Cummings comes back with a combination. Nelson lands another right hand and then a body shot. Nelson takes Cummings back and gets him down, landing shots to Cummings head. Nelson then locks in a rear naked choke and Cummings taps out.

Gunnar Nelson defeats Zak Cummings by submission (rear naked choke) at 4:48 of round two.
