Norman Parke wanted to put on a show for his people at UFC Fight Night 46 in Dublin, Ireland. The Northern Ireland native backed up his promise.
The fight starts with each guy circling each other. Kotani attempts a takedown, but Parke stuffs it. Kotani throws a straight left hand and tries for a takedown. Parke then presses Kotani against the cage and Kotani throws a left elbow. A two punch combination lands from Kotani. Parke just misses a flying knee and then lands a body kick.
Kotani presses Parke against the cage, but the Northern Ireland native escapes and gets the fight back in the middle of the octagon. Kotani presses Parke again to the cage and both guys exchange knees. Kotani tries for a takedown, Parke stuffs it and tries to take Kotani’s back. Parke landing some ground and pound, but the bell rings and Kotani makes it through the round.

The second round starts with each guy trying for a kick. Parke lands an overhand left and Kotani misses on a takedown attempt. Parke then presses Kotani and scores a takedown and is in side control. Parke throwing some knees and elbows. Kotani tries a hip escape, but Parke gets Kotani back in side control and throwing sharp elbows.
Kotani is able to escape to get the fight back to the feet. Parke takes Kotani back to the mat. parke landing vicious punches and referee Marc Goddard stops the fight. Parke then jumps out of the cage and into the excited Dublin crowd.
