Roman Reigns Gets Six Staples In His Head

On Monday’s edition of WWE Raw, Roman Reigns received six staples in his head. Reigns showed his battle wounds on Twitter.

Reigns suffered the injury during his last man standing match with Kane. WWE.com talked to WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann on Reigns injury and if he is cleared to compete on Smackdown this Friday.

“We brought Roman Reigns back to the trainer’s room after he sustained a laceration to his forehead when his forehead hit the ring post,” Amman stated. “We cleaned him up real well and put in six staples to close the wound. He’s going to be cleared for Smackdown.”

Reigns will battle Randy Orton in 13 days at WWE Summerslam on Sunday, August 17th from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
