WWE Smackdown Moving To A New Night?

WWE Smackdown originated on Thursday nights in 1999. Could we be seeing the show switch back to their old night? F4WOnline.com and PWInsider are reporting that WWE production trucks that were going to this week’s Raw and Smackdown featured trucks that listed Smackdown moving back to Thursday nights. The show would air at 8 p.m. ET on SyFy.

The WWE released a statement to F4W on the story.

“Someone was overzealous in updating our production trucks,” said WWE. “The trucks are being fixed to reflect the current and accurate information of Fridays at 8 p.m.”

WWE Smackdown originally started in 199 on UPN, which eventually turned into the CW Network. The show then moved from that network to SyFy in 2010.

Do you think Smackdown moves back to their original night?
