First In-Ring Segment:

MizTV gets things going with the host in a red suit. He talks about how awesome it’s going to be when the Hollywood icon gets to defend his title in Hollywood. Nice touch. His guest tonight is Roman Reigns to a solid ovation. Miz mentions his mom being a big Reigns fan and asks if Roman is nervous about his match on Sunday. If Reigns loses, he’s going to be a guy remembered in a vest that was once on MizTV.

Miz keeps cutting him off and bragging about his movie career, so Reigns punches him out without standing up. The replays make it look even better as Reigns made perfect contact. Reigns stares Miz out of the ring and says he respects the titles Orton has won, but he’s coming at Summerslam.

First Match: Dean Ambrose vs. Cesaro

Ambrose with a knee lift to the gut of Cesaro. He lands a few jabs in the corner, but Cesaro fights back with some of his own.  Cesaro lands a big time clothesline, Ambrose fights back with right hands. Ambrose with a clothesline, and then another. Ambrose goes for a Crossbody, but caught. Ambrose slips through and clotheslines Cesaro to the floor. Ambrose with a slingshot dive taking out Cesaro. Back in the ring, Ambrose targets the midsection of Cesaro. However, Cesaro with a knee lift to the gut of Ambrose and then sends him shoulder first into the ring post. Cesaro hits a suplex from the second rope of the turnbuckle to the floor.

We’re back with Cesro in control, Ambrose backdrops Cesaro to the floor and hits a suicide dive taking out Cesaro. Back in the ring, Ambrose goes to the top rope, but Cesaro knocks him down. Cesaro goes for a suplex, but Ambrose blocks and bits the noise of Cesaro. Ambrose hits a DDT off the top rope for the near fall. Ambrose attempts a double arm DDT, but Cesaro blocks and hits a big boot. Cesaro with a big time clothesline for two. Cesaro runs at Ambrose, but Ambrose reverses into a back elbow. Ambrose goes for the DDT again, but Cesaro blocks and hits a major league uppercut for two. Ambrose rolls him up for two. Cesaro hits a face first power slam for a near fall. Cesaro slaps the face of Ambrose, but Ambrose shoots off the ropes with a clothesline for two. Ambrose goes for a move, but Cesaro blocks. Ambrose reverses and hits Dirty Deeds for the win.

Seth Rollins makes his way out to the ring. He said this Sunday they finally go one on one in a lumberjack match. Ambrose chose this match and that most of the Superstars do not like either of them. Rollins explains how a lumberjack match works. He said that he is better than Ambrose and he will prove that this Sunday.

Winner: Dean Ambrose

Back from commercial break Kane is backstage with The Miz. Miz complains about Roman Reigns attacking the “Money Maker” and the kids these days know nothing about respect. Kane tells The Miz he will take on Roman Reigns tonight in our main event.

Second Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. Titus O’Neil w/Heath Slater

Ziggler ducks and sends O’Neil to the floor. Ziggler runs in and out, O’Neil argues with Slater. Once O’Neil get’s back into the ring, Ziggler drop kicks him. O’Neil with right hands, he pulls Ziggler down by his hair. O’Neil with a back breaker on Ziggler. O’Neil runs into a big boot. Let’s go Ziggler chants break out. Ziggler hits a big time clothesline followed by a drop kick. Ziggler with a splash in the corner. Ziggler goes for a neck breaker, but blocked and O’Neil hits a big boot. O’Neil goes for a power slam, but blocked and Ziggler hits the Zig Zag for the win.

We get a replay of the sit-down conversation with Bray Wyatt and Chris Jericho.

Third Match: Mark Henry w/Big Show vs. Luke Harper w/Erick Rowan

This actually has potential. Big Show is out with Henry. They circle each other to start until Luke tries his luck against Mark’s power. It goes as badly as you would expect with Henry shoving him out to the floor and staring down at Harper. Back in and a big boot drops Mark for two before we hit the chinlock. Henry powers up again and loads up the World’s Strongest Slam, drawing in Rowan for the DQ. 

On the WWE App Kane come out and said per the Authority this match will restart as a tag team match.

Winner: Mark Henry by DQ

Fourth Match: Mark Henry & Big Show vs. Luke Harper & Erick Rowan

Big Show chops Harper in the corner and Luke bails to the floor to avoid a chokeslam. Show goes after him and Rowan gets in a cheap shot to take over. Erick comes in legally and drops an elbow for two before choking away on the ropes.

Harper’s superkick gets two and a big reaction from the crowd. Big Show fights out of another chinlock and plants Harper with a side slam. The hot tag brings in Henry who cleans house and loads up Rowan in the World’s Strongest Slam. Big Show nails Erick with the KO Punch before Henry plants him with the slam for the pin.

Winner: Mark Henry & Big Show

We get a package about the Brie Bella and Stephanie McMahon feud.

Fifth Match: AJ Lee vs. Eva Marie

Non-title again. AJ charges and sends Eva out to the floor but she’s able to snap AJ’s throat across the ropes. Back in and AJ snaps, even ripping Eva’s extensions out. Paige comes out but takes a beating as well, but it causes AJ to get counted out.

Paige kicks AJ in the head and nails a Paige Turner.

Winner: Eva Marie by Countout

Sixth Match: Jack Swagger w/Zeb Colter vs. Bo Dallas

Dallas takes him into the corner to start and hammers away. That’s the extent of his offense as Swagger shrugs off a spear and grabs the Patriot Lock for the submission at 53 seconds.

After the match Lana and Rusev come out and she says at SummerSlam Rusev will be dedicating his match to the Russian President Vladimir Puttin.

Winner: Jack Swagger

Seventh Match: Roman Reigns vs. The Miz

Reigns attempted to go after the face of the Miz, but he covers up. Miz starts the chicken crap heel stuff as he rolls in and out of the ring to make Reigns even more mad. Reigns finally get’s a hold of the Miz and sends him back first into the barricade. Back in the ring, Miz uses the ropes to his advantage. Miz flies off the top rope, but Reigns nailed him in the gut with a right hook. Miz goes after the left leg of the big man. Reigns pushed him off, but Miz blocked and throws Reigns leg into the ring post.

Back in the ring, Miz locked in the figure four leg lock, but Reigns finds a way to get out of it. Miz with a series of right hands, Miz goes for it again, but Reigns push him into the ring post. Reigns hit a Samoan drop on Miz. Reigns hit a clothesline, he hits another one in the corner and a big time uppercut. Reigns connected with the drop kick on the apron. Reigns is about to go for the Supermanpunch, but Miz rolls out of the ring. All of a sudden, Dolph Ziggler comes out on stage. Miz turns around and Reigns hit the Superman punch. Back in the ring, Reigns nailed the spear and this one is over.

Winner: Roman Reigns
