WWE Smackdown Moving Back To Original Night

It has been listed on the Syfy website that WWE Smackdown will be moving back to Thursday nights starting on October 2nd. We had reported almost two weeks ago that fans had seen production trucks with them saying the show would be back on Thursdays. At the time WWE had stated that “someone was overzealous in updating our production trucks. The trucks are being fixed to reflect the current and accurate information of Fridays at 8 p.m.”

WWE Smackdown started in 1999 on Thursday nights, but was moved to Fridays in 2005 and started on Syfy in 2010. It is unknown at this time if WWE NXT will stay on Thursday nights on the WWE Network as the show airs on that day at 9 p.m. ET.
