WWE SmackDown Results: Ziggler Retains, Rollins Calls Out Ambrose

First In-Ring Segment: 

Welcome to Friday night Smackdown,a recap video package is shown of Monday’s Raw. Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring where he cuts a promo about how he is cannot be hurt by the Authority. However, he gets to keep up and how he is not Mick Foley. He said that this Sunday he will take Seth Rollins to hell. If Rollins has anything to say about that then he needs to come out here and say it. Rollins appeared on the big screen, he said that Ambrose does not tell him what to do and instead he tells Ambrose what do. He said later tonight that is what he will do and that Ambrose’s future ends this Sunday while his is just getting started. He will go on to cash in and become the future of the WWE. Ambrose said that once that cell lowers, the two of them are going to burn together, but Rollins will perish at the end of the day.

 First Match: The Miz & Damien Mizdow vs. Los Matadores w/EL Torito 

Diego and Sandow start things off, Fernando with a head takeover, but Sandow manages to tag in Miz. Diego with an up kick, but when he goes to the apron, Miz uses the top rope to his advantage. Miz with clubbing right hands to the chest of Diego. Miz with a flying clothesline, he and Sandow then double team Diego, but not for long, as Diego trips Sandow and tags in Fernando. Miz is legal as well, Fernando with a flying elbow, he sends Miz face first into the corner and then goes to the top rope where he hit a front senton for a near fall. Diego sends Sando to the floor and Miz does the same to Diego. Fernando misses the back breaker on Miz and Miz locks in the figure four leg lock for the win.

Winner: The Miz & Damien Mizdo

Stardust and Goldust appear backstage where they cut a strange promo. Bo Dallas interrupts and tells them to Bolieve.

 Second Match: AJ Lee vs. Alicia Fox w/Paige 

Fox drives Lee into the corner back first and then nailed a bridge suplex for a near fall. Fox with a headlock, but Lee fights out. Fox cuts her off with a scoop slam. Lee with a flying knee, she tried to knock Paige off the apron and Fox goes for a slam, but Lee blocked and sent her into Paige. Lee rolled her up for the win.

Winner: AJ Lee 

A Wyatt Family video package is shown.

Michael Cole and Big Show Interview: 

Michael Cole interviews The Big Show. This was a pre-taped interview that is similar to Triple H’s weekly interview. Big Show talked about Rusev, their match this Sunday and Rusev knocking out the U.S soldier on Monday. Part of Hulk Hogan’s appearance on Monday’s Raw was shown. He talked about how Big Show would take down Rusev at Hell in a Cell.

Third Match: WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Cesaro

Cesaro goes for a monkey flip, but blocked by the champ and Ziggler nailed a hip toss for a near fall. Ziggler goes for a roll up, but blocked and Cesaro goes for a roll up. Several near falls and then Ziggler hit a drop kick for a near fall. Cesaro sends Ziggler shoulder first into the ring post leading to break. We’re back with Ziggler fighting out a headlock and Ziggler making his comeback. Ziggler with two flying clotheslines, a neck breaker and a big time elbow drop for a near fall.

Ziggler goes for a head takeover, but instead rolls him up for two count. Ziggler locked in the sleeper hold, but Cesaro rams Ziggler back first into the corner to break it. Cesaro with a suplex for a near fall. Ziggler goes for a DDT, but blocked and Cesaro nailed a power slam for a near fall. Ziggler rolls him up for two count, but Cesaro connected with a big boot right away. Cesaro with a big time power bomb for a near fall. Cesaro is in shock that he cannot put Ziggler away. Ziggler rolls him up for two count, Ziggler reverses a uppercut and nailed the Zig Zag for the win.

Winner: Still WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler 

 Fourth Match: Brie Bella, Natalya and Naomi vs. Nikki Bella, Cameron and Summer Rae 

Cameron and Brie start this one off, Brie with a series of knees. However, Cameron cuts her off with a clothesline. Rae tagged in and she nailed a clothesline for a near fall. Rae knocks Naomi and Natalya off the apron. Rae with a heel kick, Nikki tagged herself in and nailed the torture rack for the win.  After the match, Nikki cuts a promo about how Brie will become her personal assistant.

Winner: Nikki Bella, Cameron and Summer Rae

We came back from commercial break with a preview for the John Cena/Randy Orton Hell in a Cell Match.

Fifth Match: The Usos & Mark Henry vs. Goldust, Stardust and Bo Dallas 

Star and Jey start this one off, Jimmy tagged in as they work over the left arm. Goldust tagged in, but runs into a back body drop. They send both Gold and Stardust to the floor as we go to break. We’re back with Goldust in control of Jimmy, but Jimmy fought out with an enziguri. Henry gets the hot tag as so does Bo. Henry with a big boot to Bo, he sends Gold to the floor and Jey nailed Star with a superkick. Jey takes out Gold and Stardust takes out Jimmy. Henry backs Bo into the corner, Star jumps off the top rope and Henry hit the WSS. Off the distraction, Bo hit the bo-dog for the win.

Winner: Gold and Stardust & Bo Dallas 

We cut to the back where Cesaro interrupts Dolph Ziggler’s interview. Cesaro challenges him to a match at Hell in a Cell. It’s not just a normal match, but a 2 out of 3 falls match.

 Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose Segment: 

Seth Rollins comes down to the ring with various weapons in the ring. He said this Sunday he is going to win and he might not have ever been in a HIAC match, but he knows that there is only one rule in this match and that there are no rules. Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble are standing outside the ring. Rollins calls out Ambrose and said that Ambrose is all talk. He shows footage of Monday’s Raw where he stood on top of the cell with Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose laid out. However, here comes Dean Ambrose and attacks Rollins with a Kendo stick. Ambrose goes for a powerbomb, but Noble broke things up. Rollins runs away as Ambrose hit the dirty deeds on Mercury. Ambrose puts Mercury on top of a table and nailed an elbow off the top rope. The fans chant one more time and that is what Ambrose does to Noble. Ambrose does the same thing to Noble as Rollins watches from the stage. This is how we end Smackdown.
