JPOV: Decent RAW some matches were good some were not. I like the progression of the heel character of Titus O’Neil. It’s great to see Sheamus back in the ring like a breath of fresh air. Didn’t have much a problem with the Batista segment Del Rio said he had issues with Batista and dealt with his issues with Batista like a man sending a message to Batista. 2 great 6 Man Tag Team Match tonight.

I think Triple H needs to be get off his leash from Stephanie McMahon, but that just my opinion who running the show Stephanie or HHH? No John Cena kinda of surprised. Nice to see Christian back in the ring. I didn’t like the Santino segment. The cage match was slow to start off, but I thought the match was good.

The Main Event was fantastic a good old school wrestling match with Orton and Bryan. Nice to see Bryan win the match cleanley one questioned I have tho is why are the authority still sticking their nose in bryan business and helping orton even tho at the start of the show they were giving Orton a warning. Like I said I saw better Raws, but this was one ok no major issues.

WWE Hall Of Fame Building Heading To Orlando?

wwe logo

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony always takes place the night before WrestleMania. What the company doesn’t have though is an actual building for the inductees like the NFL, MLB and the NBA have. We could be closer to that happening, but something significant has to happen first.

In an article on the NYPost.com, NBCUniversal, which owns USA and SyFy that airs Raw and Smackdown will be pitching an idea to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon about creating a Hall of Fame building in Orlando, Florida in conjunction with company renewing their TV deal with the media giant. NBCU’s exclusive negotiating period with the WWE ends on February 1st.

A WWE source states in the article that the company is likely staying with the media giant.

The War Of Words Between Jake Roberts And The Ultimate Warrior

ultimate warrior

Last week on WWE Monday Night Raw, The Ultimate Warrior was the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony takes place the day before Wrestlemania 30 on Saturday, April 5.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts returned to the company two weeks ago on “Old School” Raw. That started rumblings of Roberts being included into this years Hall of Fame.

Roberts was on The Busted Open radio show and has this to say regarding Warrior getting into the Hall of Fame.

“Maybe they’re taking in assholes and not great talent. I don’t know.”

Warrior responded on Twitter with these tweets.

Roberts took to Twitter and apologized for his comments.

The comments didn’t stop there as Steve Wilton who represents Warrior in some business affairs has some choice for Roberts.

Roberts hasn’t responded to the comments and The Warrior hasn’t either.

Forget Hipster Wrestling, This is Something Much Bigger

Daniel-Bryan

(note: This is a response to David Shoemaker’s Hipster Wrestling column published in July 2013)

When it comes to professional wrestling, perspective changes everything.

For example: Daniel Bryan wasn’t seen as a bona fide superstar. Until he was. And then, when he was saddled with a gimmick so bad that everybody thought it might spell the end of his main-event career, he proved that being bff with The Big Red Machine was precisely the platform he needed to break-through Vince McMahon’s glass ceiling. His meteoric rise stopped short of a lengthy WWE championship run (to which internet fans, including myself, cried foul), but left us with a severe case of ‘Daniel Bryan deserves more’ syndrome, “Yes!” chants and all. You always hear the saying in pro wrestling, “never say never” in regards to a wrestler returning to an organization. When you think of the history of the Ultimate Warrior and the WWE, you would say you would never see him back in the company. Guess that saying still rings true.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the Ultimate Warrior and the WWE have reached an agreement. Terms haven’t been disclosed. The Observer states that this agreement is likely for the Warrior to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
