Dana White Previews “The Fighters” And Says He “Used To Beat The Living S**t Out Of Tito Ortiz (Video)

UFC President Dana White spoke last night at a media screening of his reality show, “The Fighters” in which White is the executive producer. White, executive producer of this show and The Ultimate Fighter Craig Piligian, and famed boxing trainer Peter Welch describe the background of the show, why they chose Boston for the show, a stabbing incident led to a person being off the show, his amateur boxing career, the backstory behind the proposed boxing match with Tito Ortiz and much more in this two part video below.

Hulk Hogan Says It Would Be A “Dream Come True” To Return To The WWE

Hulk Hogan left TNA in October and rumors started circulating that a return to the WWE was imminent. We haven’t seen Hogan make his return yet to the company.

TMZ caught up with Hogan as he was entering a Los Angeles airport and was asked about the rumors of a WWE return. Hogan answered that question and did he pre-cut his Hulkamania shirt?

Full Episode of UFC On Fox 10′s “Road To The Octagon”

It is fight week as the UFC has the first Fox show of 2014 on Saturday night. UFC on Fox 10 takes place on Saturday night from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The main event of the show features former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson battling former Strikeforce lightweight champion Josh Thomson.

Before every Fox show, the UFC airs a show called “Road to the Octagon” that highlights the featured matches on the show. The episode features the Henderson vs Thomson fight, heavyweights Gabriel Gonzaga and Stipe Miocic and lightweights Donald Cerrone and Adriano Martins.

Triple H Says Having The Ultimate Warrior In The WWE Hall Of Fame Is “What’s Best For Business” (Video)

WWE COO Triple H did his weekly sitdown interview with Michael Cole earlier today. HHH discussed what happened to CM Punk when the New Age Outlaws turned on him during their match with The Shield on this past Monday’s Raw, Randy Orton attacking John Cena’s father and the return of Batista this Monday on Raw.

Talk then came to discussing The Ultimate Warrior who was the first wrestler inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. HHH had this to say about the Warrior

“One of the biggest icons that there’s ever been in this industry, one of the biggest WWE superstars of all time,” HHH said. “He should be in the WWE Hall of Fame and quite frankly having The Ultimate Warrior in the Hall of Fame is what’s best for business.”

The WWE will be making a “Groundbreaking Announcement” tonight from the Wynn Hotel And Casino in Las Vegas At the CES Convention at 9:30 p.m. ET. It is expected that the announcement will be the launch of the WWE Network. Expected to be there are Vince and Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, “Stone Cold” Steve Austion, John Cena and Shawn Michaels.

Daniel Bryan “YES” Chant At Premiere College Basketball Game Last Night

Daniel Bryan is without a doubt the most over act in the WWE. The hysteria of the “YES” has now spread to other sports. Last night during a big college basketball featuring third ranked Ohio State and fifth ranked Michigan State.

During a break in the game, Michigan State football player Travis Jackson was on the floor and wanted people to do the “YES”. The arena went crazy. You can watch in the video above.

Triple H Promises Big Surprises In Tonight’s Groundbreaking Announcement

The WWE released today Triple H’s weekly sitdown video interview with Michael Cole. Cole tried to pry what the big announcement that will be taking place tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET in Las Vegas at the CES convention. It is expected that the announcement will be the launch of the WWE network.

HHH stated that he will be there with his wife Stephanie McMahon, Vince McMahon, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin and John Cena. Cole tried to get HHH to divulge the news. All HHH would say is that big surprises will be revealed and this will change the WWE forever.

Report: Brock Lesnar “Talking” With Dana White About A Return To The UFC

Brock Lesnar appeared last night on WWE Monday Night, where he put out Mark Henry with a kimura. Moments later got into skirmish with The Big Show.

Various MMA websites showed the video of Lesnar putting Henry in the kimura since it is a MMA move. Rumors had run rampant two weeks ago leading up to UFC 168 that Lesnar was discussing a return to the organization. UFC President Dana White was coy about a Lesnar return at that time.

BetweenTheRopes.com had talked to FightHype.com lead writer Percy Crawford at that time if they thought Lesnar would return. It seemed like it was all for nothing though when Lesnar returned last week on Raw and pummeled Henry. It looks like though we could be wrong.

Lance Pugmire from the LA Times stated yesterday on Twitter that he talked to UFC President Dana White and White told him that he is talking with Brock Lesnar regarding a return to the UFC.

BetweenTheRopes.com has talked to sources close to the situation and that a Lesnar return has been discussed with White. The sources also told us that fights have been discussed, but as of right now nothing is imminent.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts Makes His Return To The WWE On Last Night’s Monday Night Raw (Video)

We haven’t seen Jake “The Snake” Roberts in the WWE since 2005. Roberts has had share of demons since he has left the company that have been well documented. Over a year ago, Roberts enlisted the help of his good friend, fellow WWE legend Diamond Dallas Page. Roberts has gotten back on the right path since he has gotten the help from Page.

Roberts had stated that his goal was to get back to the WWE and compete at this year’s Royal Rumble. We don’t have to wait that long.

After the main event of last night’s WWE Monday Night that featured Roman Reigns defeating CM Punk. The Shield then beat down Punk and then Roberts music hit and he came out with the snake in a bag. The New Age Outlaws and Punk beat up Reigns and Seth Rollins, which left Dean Ambrose in the ring. Roberts put the snake on a lying Ambrose.

Ric Flair Gives The NFL’s San Francisco 49ers A Pregame Speech Before Big Playoff Game (Video)

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair will return to the WWE tomorrow night on “Old School” Raw. Before that though, Flair went to Appleton, Wisconsin yesterday to give a speech to the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers. Flair was there to pump the 49ers up before their playoff game today against the Green Bay Packers.

If the 49ers win today, they will face Flair’s hometown team, the Carolina Panthers next week in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs.

Anderson Silva Should Retire From The UFC

Anderson Silva at UFC 168 on Saturday night was looking to regain the UFC middleweight championship in the rematch with Chris Weidman. In the second round, Silva threw a leg kick in which Weidman checked and Silva went down in a heap.

Silva ended up breaking his leg. Steve talked to Bleacher Report Lead MMA writer Duane Finley and the guys discuss whether Silva should retire from the UFC.

Ronda Rousey vs Sara McMann UFC 170 Preview

Ronda Rousey defeated Miesha Tate by third round submission at UFC 168 on Saturday night to retain the UFC women’s bantamweight championship. After the event, UFC President Dana White announced that Rousey would defend the title against fellow Olympian Sara McMann at UFC 170 on February 22.

Brock Lesnar Returns To The WWE (Video)

Brock Lesnar hasn’t been seen in the WWE since Summerslam in August when he defeated CM Punk. Last night on Monday Night Raw, Triple H brought out Lesnar with Paul Heyman.

Heyman stated that Lesnar was back to become the WWE world heavyweight champion and was gunning for the winner of the main event of Randy Orton and John Cena at the Royal Rumble in January. Lesnar challenged anyone in the back to come out and Mark Henry accepted the challenge.

The two battled and Henry threw Lesnar over the guardrail and then Lesnar speared Henry threw the barricade. Lesnar then gave Henry the F5 to close the segment.

UFC 168 Post-Fight Recap Show

UFC 168 took place on Saturday night from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. In the main event, Chris Weidman defeated Anderson Silva to retain the UFC middleweight title after Silva broke his leg while throwing a leg kick, that was checked by Weidman.

In the co-feature, Ronda Rousey retained the UFC women’s bantamweight title defeating Miesha Tate by third round submission.
