Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has been arrested in Orange County on felony charges of evading, hit and run and reckless driving in New port Beach on Tuesday, Five Ounces of Pain is reporting.
According to Lt. Paul Dondero there were several collisions involved. Then according to Dondero, "Mr. Jackson fled from those was first [observed] by a Costa Mesa motor officer driving with one flat tire while talking on a cell phone and weaving in & out of traffic." He also apparently failed to stop with lights ans sirens blaring.
He was also at one point driving on the sidewalk, got into another collision. He then continued running red lights and finally came to a stop and taken into custody.
According to Dondero as fo 7:48 p.m. ET Jackson was still in police custody, his bail has been set at $25,000 and was in the process of being booked.
In a fun little interesting note, the truck that Rampage was driving had his face painted on the side. I'm pretty sure any hope he had of an immediate rematch with Forrest Griffin have just died.  Comments (2) | Views: 179 | Read more...

Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net is reporting that Monday’s episode of Raw drew a 3.2 rating on Monday night, down from last week’s 3.5. Keep in mind, however, that the show faced some strong competition in the Jesse Ventura CNN interview, Brett Favre’s appearance on FOX News, and the Major League Baseball home run derby on ESPN (which, according to PWInsider.com‘s Dave Scherer, drew a very impressive 6.4 number).

Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net reported this morning that Scott Steiner is currently suffering from an infection linked to his recent surgery which could possibly cause him to miss additional time away from TNA.
Steiner recently underwent an operation to repair a torn ACL suffered during a three-way match also involving Kaz and World Champion Samoa Joe at May’s Sacrifice PPV.

The Long Island Press reported yesterday that Ric Flair’s finance company - appropriately titled Ric Flair Finance - has closed down after less than a year in operation.

TNA presents their go-home edition of Impact tonight at 9:00 PM on Spike TV. The show appears to be focused around newcomer Taylor taking on Awesome Kong in a Twenty-five Thousand Dollar Challenge for the Knockouts Title, as well as a possible appearance by Sting.
The World X Cup continues, as Kaz will be in action representing Team TNA. Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, and others are also scheduled to appear.
