PWInsider.com‘s Mike Johnson reported yesterday that World Wrestling Entertainment is planning to terminate the online Heat show next month, with a WWE Classics program replacing the series on international television affiliates.
The company also intends to interact the Raw and ECW brands beginning in June as a way to attract interest in the Sci-Fi wrestling show, with Raw stars competing in ECW and ECW grapplers appearing Monday nights on The USA Network. This arrangement would also allow further time for post-production of ECW.

As reported yesterday Mark Coleman had to drop out of his fight against Brock Lesnar at UFC 87 due to an injury. MMAWeekly.com is reporting that Coleman’s replacement will be “The Texas Crazy Horse” Heath Herring. My one piece of advice for Lesnar is to not attempt the strategy seen below against Heath;

The main event for UFC 87 has been named as UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre will be stepping back into the ring to defend his title against Jon Fitch.
UFC.com also announced today that Hall of Famer Mark Coleman has been forced out of his fight against Brock
Lesnar due to knee injury. Coleman's replacement will be announced soon.
UFC 87 is scheduled to take place August 9th from Minnesota. Metallica will not be appearing, despite the show being called Seek and Destroy

The road to June 8th’s Slammiversary PPV resumes tonight when Impact rolls onto Spike TV at 9:00 PM.
The King of the Mountain qualifiers will begin, as TNA World Champion Samoa Joe announces four wrestlers to oppose Jim Cornette’s selections for the pre-KOTM matches.
Karen Angle is scheduled to confront her husband Kurt regarding his invitation last week for Karen and their children to return home. In addition, Lax member Homicide will take on Team 3D’s Brother Ray, while Angelina Love squares off against ODB.
Also slated for the show is an update on Abyss and the continuation of Mike Tenay’s sit-down interview with Sting.
