Human Growth Hormone, Syringes Found in Former Home of WWE Wrestler

A Georgia man was shocked to discover two shoe boxes containing syringes and human growth hormone in the attic of his newly purchased home in Locust Grove. Also found among the items was company paperwork belonging to the former owner of the property, who happens to be a current WWE wrestler.

The name of the grappler has not been released, as investigators wish to speak with him before revealing his identity to the public. No charges have been filed as of yet.

Programming Notes For Canadian Fans

Raw is also pre-empted on The Score due to NCAA Basketball and is scheduled to air at midnight.

WWE 24/7 May Programming

WWE.com has posted the schedule for May‘s WWE 24/7 programming content. The theme of the month will be “Latino Legends” with the career of Eddie Guerrero being profiled. The final WCW Clash of the Champions special and two WWE house shows will also be shown.

In addition, fans may choose a Pick Your Big One show from the following collection of PPV cards: In Your House I, Slamboree 2000, and Judgement Day 2005.

Slam! Wrestling reported yesterday that a sequel to Vince Russo’s 2005 autobiography entitled How WCW Killed Vince Russo will be released in late-2008 or early-2009. Russo’s previous book, Forgiven: One Man’s Journey From Self-Glorificiation to Sanctification was published under the Toronto, Ontario-based ECW Press.

Speaking of ECW, the company has announced a forthcoming Larry Zbyszko autobiography dubbed Adventures in Larryland!: Life in Professional Wrestling to be released next month.

Former Wrestler Sara Lee Passes Away

Former wrestler and TNA on-air personality Sara (Lee) Ray passed away yesterday at the age of 77. Ray was one of Tennessee’s top female grapplers during the 50s and 60s and sold tickets for TNA’s weekly PPV events at the Tennessee Fairgrounds "Asylum" arena.

Ross Comments on Recent Health Problems

Jim Ross has posted his latest blog on JrsBarbQ.com where he discusses undergoing a thoroughcolonoscopy on Friday to have several non-cancerous polyps removed. Ross had experienced colon trouble and blood loss during WrestleMania weekend in Orlando, but chose to work through the illness. Likewise, J.R. intends to be at Raw on Monday night.

Ross is no stranger to colon problems, as the announcer underwent surgery in 2005 to have thirteen inches of his large intestines removed.

Previewing Tonight's Smackdown

The post-WrestleMania XXIV edition of Smackdown will take the air tonight on The CW Network (as well as The Score in Canada). New World Champion The Undertaker is scheduled to make his first on-camera appearance since upending Edge for the strap at ‘Mania.

Matt Hardy and U.S. Champion MVP will square off in a non-title match following Hardy’s interference in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match which cost MVP the opportunity to retrieve the MITB briefcase. In addition, the winner of the Smackdown Diva Competition will be announced, with either Michelle McCool or Cherry becoming the proud owner of a Beverly Hills Chopper motorcycle.

Also slated to appear on the broadcast are The Big Show, Shawn Michaels, and Batista (possibly to launch an HBK-Batista program).

Four-year-old Accidentally Kills Brother While Imitating Wrestling

WHAS Channel 11 in Louisville, KY is reporting that a four-year-old boy allegedly killed his toddler brother last week while imitating pro wrestling.

The boys’ mother, Jacqueline Davis, says she found her two-year-old son unconscious on his bedroom floor after taking a shower. Davis claims the four-year-old told her and authorities that he choked his brother to death with a curtain while pretending to be a WWE wrestler.

The victim, Jacquion Davis, died on Tuesday after remaining in intensive care for the previous four days. Autopsy results may take as long as two weeks to be made public; a police investigation is pending.
