The war between TNA’s Frontline faction and The Main Event Mafia continues tonight on Impact, which takes the air tonight at 9:00 PM on Spike TV. Scheduled for the broadcast is a (presumably) non-title headliner featuring World Champion Sting squaring off against Rhino and Samoa Joe challenging Booker T for the Legends belt. In addition, Scott Steiner joins forces with Awesome Kong to take on AJ Styles and Christy Hemme in mixed tag action.
The Beautiful People also announced last week that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin would appear on the show to accept a donation to her favorite charity, although many insiders and fans (myself included) suspect this is a swerve of sorts.

Hurricane Helms has posted his latest MySpace blog discussing an emotional return to in-ring action during last night’s SmackDown tapings in Albany, New York. Helms also opens up about a string of family tragedies which befell him during his year and a half away from WWE.
I’m sure I join thousands of other fans in wishing Helms the very best as he begins the next chapter of his career. The MySpace entry - which I highly recommend - can be viewed at this link.

Sorry, Cena-haters: Dave Scherer of PWInsider.com is reporting Monday’s Raw rating as a 3.4, which is up from last week’s solid (by 2008 standards) 3.3 number. This would certainly seem to suggest that Cena’s return has increased viewership on the red brand. Comments (1) | Views: 73 | Read more... |
