Previewing Tonight's Impact
The News - Wrestling  |   Written by Adam Wilcox   |   Thursday, 11 September 2008
TNA continues to tease the return of Jeff Jarrett as the focal point for tonight’s Impact, which takes the air at 9 PM on Spike TV. The hype comes as a result of Sting’s challenge to the King of the Mountain at the conclusion of last week’s broadcast.

In addition to the possible Jarrett appearance, Velvet Sky and Angelina Love will present the inaugural Beautiful People Beauty Pageant in an attempt to humiliate Knockout Champion Taylor Wilde three days before she places the title on the line against Love at No Surrender.

Also slated for the show is another open challenge from Abyss, as well as appearances by AJ Styles and World Champion Samoa Joe.

Flair Family Domestic Dispute Leads to Altercation With Police
The News - Wrestling  |   Written by Adam Wilcox   |   Tuesday, 09 September 2008
North Carolina‘s WTVD-TV is reporting that Ashley Fliehr - daughter of Ric Flair - was arrested on Saturday night and charged with both assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.

Police were called to a Chapel Hill apartment complex on the night in question when neighbors heard a commotion outside the building. Upon arriving on the scene, officers found Flair, his daughter, and an unidentified 22-year old man. Ric and the male companion had apparently been involved in a fight which left the legendary wrestler “bloodied and bruised”.

Flair opted not to press charges against the man, but Ashley has been accused of kicking a police officer and apparently had a taser gun used on her. Fliehr’s boyfriend later told ABC-11 Eyewitness News that the incident was a family matter which has since been resolved. Her first court appearance is slated for October 6.
