MMA Live made its debut on ESPN.com talking about all the latest in MMA. While there is mostly talk about the UFC, the show also covers EliteXC, Affliction and other groups.
Overall, host Jon Anik, UFC fighter Kenny Florian and writer Franklin McNeil do a good job covering the sport and share some solid insight. Florian is the true standout of the show with his keen observations and honest opinions. Good move by ESPN to include a package of him training and sharing some fight tips.

Looks like MMA is coming to ESPN...or at least their website. MMAWeekly.com is reporting that a new online show focusing on the sport will debut on the website this Thursday.
The show will be hosted by UFC lightweight contender Kenny Florian, ESPN's John Anik & Newark Star-Ledger reporter Franklin McNeil.
The program, called MMA Live, will feature the hosts discussing all the news & notes of the sport & will look to adding interviews and other segments later.
Florian, who says he was contacted about doing the show before his fight with Joe Lauzon, also points to the possibility of the show going to regular ESPN television if the initial three show internet run is well received. The shows will be 30 minutes long.
So, it now appears that MMA is not only getting more airtime in some capacity but the almighty gods at ESPN are even seeing fit to try and give MMA a little attention themselves. Let's see how that turns out

Former UFC Champion Andrei Arlovski is currently a free agent. There have plenty of rumors on where he may be fighting next from EliteXC to Affliction to once again fighting for the UFC. Not even UFC President Dana White knows where he may end up as he told Yahoo! Sports.
"We want to sign him. It’s our intention to sign him. But I don’t know. We’re, well, I don’t know. We want to. Whether we will or not, I have no idea. We like Andrei and I know the fans like Andrei. I hope we can do something."
Well, that's honest. There have been reports that the UFC has the right of first refusal of any offer that Arlovski receives. That may not be necessary if Affliction offers "The Pitbull" a huge money offer which White and the UFC will refuse to pay. Simply put, the UFC wants to keep Arlovski - but only at what they feel is a fair price.

In case you missed it, here is the video of Gina Carano on last night's edition of "E:60". It's a nice piece by ESPN and Carano continues to receive a lot of good press for her fighting and her pretty face.
