Last night's Impact featured Kurt Angle defending the World Title in a tag team bout, Team 3D taking on Booker T and Scott Steiner to determine Beer Money, Inc.'s opponents at Victory Road, and more.

The show began with World Champion Kurt Angle - accompanied by the Main Event Mafia - calling Mick Foley to the ring and expressing his outrage at the Executive Shareholder’s decision to place Scott Steiner and Booker T into a tag team number-one contender’s match against Team 3D later in the show. Angle offered Foley the opportunity to choose which MEM member would assault him, but The Hardcore Legend instead attacked Kurt, prompting the rest of the faction to jump Foley. Jeff Jarrett hit the ring to run off the heels, but then smashed Foley with his guitar. Angle appeared pleased by Jarrett’s actions, but The TNA Founder later made it clear he had no intention of forming an alliance with the Olympian by ordering him to defend the World belt in a tag team main event match against he and AJ Styles.

Amazing Red over Cody Deaner via pinfall.

Eric Young over Rhino via pinfall. Rhino’s protégé Jesse Neal inadvertently cost his mentor the match by distracting the official as the ECW original had Young pinned.

Awesome Kong and Tara over The Beautiful People via Kong’s pinfall on Velvet Sky.

Scott Steiner and Booker T over Team 3D via Booker’s pinfall on Brother Ray following interference by The British Invasion. World Tag Team Champions Beer Money, Inc. provided color commentary during the match, but were attacked by Sheik Abdul Bashir and Kiyoshi. Meanwhile, The Brits’ involvement led to Team 3D’s downfall when Brutus Magnus hit Brother Ray with a Feast or Fired briefcase as the referee was distracted. This victory earned Steiner and Booker a title shot against Beer Money at Victory Road.

Jay Lethal was scheduled to wrestle Jethro Holliday, but Abyss instead took out both men before calling out Dr. Stevie mid-ring. The Monster’s former “therapist” appeared on the big screen holding Lauren and threatened to harm her if Abyss did not attend a “therapy” session next week.

World Champion Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe over Jeff Jarrett and Legends Champion AJ Styles when Jarrett passed out in Angle’s anklelock. Post-match, the rest of the Main Event Mafia arrived to celebrate, but Styles used his title to chase them away. The MEM eventually began to beat down The Phenomenal One, and Matt Morgan (following Angle’s orders from earlier in the night) was shown assaulting Christopher Daniels backstage. The arena then went dark and Sting appeared in the ring upon the power returning. The Icon used his baseball bat to take out the MEM members before disappearing once again.
