Last night's post-SummerSlam Raw included an appearance by boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr., Vince McMahon joining forces with DX in a six-man main event against Legacy, and more.

The show began with Legacy appearing on the screen and WWE Champion Randy Orton revealing Ted DiBiase’s younger brother Brett as the “fan” who interfered in his title defense against John Cena at the previous night’s SummerSlam event. Orton chastised Brett for his actions and vowed that he would never again interject himself in The Legend Killer’s matches.

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon made his way to the ring and put over guest host Floyd Mayweather Jr., who had yet to arrive at the building. Vince announced that John Cena would challenge Randy Orton for the WWE Title at next month’s Breaking Point PPV in an I Quit Match. DeGeneration X arrived, and it was eventually revealed to be Vince’s 64th birthday. Triple H and Shawn Michaels proceeded to throw the company head an impromptu bash, complete with a tribute video, showgirls, an Elvis impersonator, and (unfortunately) Big Dick Johnson emerging from a giant birthday cake. Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes hit the ring to attack DX, and a six-man main event was made pitting Legacy against Hunter, Michaels, and Vince. This segment had its fun moments, but spending almost 25 minutes on a comedy skit seems ridiculous to me.

The Miz over Santino Marella via pinfall. Post-match, Miz again reiterated his intention to defeat Kofi Kingston for the U.S. Championship.

Alicia Fox, Beth Phoenix, and Rosa Mendes over Divas Champion Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, and Gail Kim via Alicia’s pinfall on James. This was termed a “Money Mayweather Melee” where the women were adorned in boxing clothes.

Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and The Big Show came to the ring, with Show claiming that his WrestleMania XXIV opponent Floyd Mayweather was afraid of him. Both men refused to leave until Mayweather arrived, and “Money” was soon seen making his way into the arena. Mayweather jawed with Show and Jericho until Montel Vontavious Porter appeared on the entrance ramp. MVP requested a Tag Title shot for himself and a partner of his choosing, and Mayweather agreed. Porter and Mark Henry went on to defeat the Champions in a non-title bout to earn a title opportunity at Breaking Point.

Hornswoggle over Chavo Guerrero via disqualification in a boxing match. A frustrated Guerrero bodyslammed Hornswoggle, earning the DQ. Post-bout, Evan Bourne arrived and made the save for the leprechaun, hopefully signaling the merciful conclusion of Chavo’s feud with Hornswoggle. On a side note, TNA's Jeremy Borash chimed in with this awesome comment on his Twitter account while watching the match.

DeGeneration X and Vince McMahon over Legacy in a No-disqualification Match via Vince’s pinfall on Randy Orton following interference by John Cena. The Chairman covered Orton for the three-count after an Attitude Adjustment from Cena, preceded by Shawn Michaels’ Sweet Chin Music.

Most of Raw, once again, bored me this week. Raw isn't even like a wrestling show anymore, it's a variety show of lameness. It's hard to take anything seriously anymore. The DX tribute for Vince , like you said, was WAY too long. And it was the same played-out jokes they use in every skit like this. I'm also tired of celebrities and non-wrestling types pushing around the wrestling talent every week. I enjoy Impact, SmackDown and even ECW and SuperStars more than the infomercials Raw has become.
