Last night's edition of Impact included a six-man tag team main event, the on-screen Impact debut of TNA President Dixie Carter, and more.

X Division Champion Samoa Joe wrestled Suicide to a no-contest in a non-title match following interference by Daniels and D’Angelo Dinero. Referee Earl Hebner threw out the bout and announced a tag team contest for later in the program pitting Joe and Dinero against Daniels and Suicide (Mike Tenay stated on commentary that TNA referees have been granted more power, which apparently includes the authority to sign matches).

Sheik Abdul Bashir (accompanied by the World Elite) cut an anti-American promo before handing the microphone to Eric Young, who proceeded to call out Hernandez. The Feast or Fired World Title contender obliged, and shot down Young’s claims that the U.S. fans would never accept him as a true equal. In regard to America, Hernandez told the Canadian to either “love it or leave it”.

Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed over Traci Brooks and Sharmell in a Knockouts tag team tournament match via Saeed’s pinfall on Brooks. Raisha tagged herself into the bout and scored the three-count on Traci, which appeared to anger Kong afterward.

Jesse Neal over Rhino via reverse decision. Rhino had originally defeated Neal using a spinebuster, but the referee overturned his ruling when the powerhouse Gored his former protégé after the bell. Rhino continued the assault until Brother Devon arrived for the save.

Abyss over The Motor City Machineguns in a Handicap Match via pinfall on Chris Sabin. The burial of the Guns continued here, as even a two-on-one advantage and assistance from Dr. Stevie (who had hired the MCMs to collect his $50,000 bounty earlier in the night) could not save the duo here. Post-match, Stevie berated Sabin and Alex Shelley, only to have the pair double-team him. Legends Champion Kevin Nash then appeared and stated his desire to claim Stevie’s bounty.

Hamada over Daffney via pinfall in a No-disqualification Match. This was a great bout and a very impressive debut for Hamada, who highlighted the contest by using a springboard moonsault to send Daffney crashing through a table on the outside.

Daniels and Suicide over X Division Champion Samoa Joe and D’Angelo Dinero via Suicide’s pinfall on Dinero. A nice match, but why on Earth is Dinero jobbing so soon?

A clip aired of Jeremy Borash interviewing Bobby Lashley and TNA President Dixie Carter. Dixie announced the company’s new three-year television deal with Spike TV, while Lashley spoke about competing in both pro wrestling and MMA. Carter also stated that Lashley would make his in-ring PPV debut at No Surrender against Rhino.

AJ Styles, Hernandez, and Sting over World Tag Team Champions Booker T and Scott Steiner along with Matt Morgan via Styles’ pinfall on Morgan. Dissension was teased between Morgan and the Main Event Mafia throughout the program, and The Blueprint informed World Champion Kurt Angle during a backstage segment that he had convinced Dixie Carter to place him in the four-way title bout at No Surrender. Styles captured the winning fall on Morgan after a miscommunication between the seven-footer and his partners. Post-match, Booker and Steiner berated Morgan, who punched down both men.

How can Sloppy Joe be the X devision Champ. The X devision used to be made up of High flyers. Joe can't get more than six inches off the ground. How many different pushes is this slob going to get. That old ROH Joe is gone and moved on to the Buffet, and mid card status.

I did like how in the start of the show Kip James said that he had one of those cars "When he was over". and Taz stating that He still had to get his towel back from Joe.
