In what is being annouced as the final bout on the UFC 83 card Middleweights Ed Herman and Demian Maia lock horns inside the Octagon. Since being defeated in his first post-TUF fight against Jason McDonald, Herman has been on role culminating in his first knockout win last October. Brazilian Maia has been unbeaten in seven pro fights scoring his first win in UFC last October against Ryan Jensen.

This completes the 11-fight card that is being headlined by the rematch between George St. Pierre and Matt Hughes for the Welterweight title. UFC 83 airs April 19th at 10 PM eastern on PPV.
