Tonight we emanate from beautiful Bridgeport, Connecticut.

We begin with Chris Jericho cutting an in-ring promo on his TLC PPV opponents, DX. Tonight, he wants to be included in the #1 Contenders match. He gets interrupted by Teddy Long. He tells Jericho that he will face The Undertaker in a non-title match instead.

Cryme Tyme vs. The Hart Dynasty
Early in the match, JTG gets most of the punishment, with the Harts making several tags. A hot tag to Shad ignites a Cryme Tyme comeback. But it’s short lived. Endgame: Kidd tosses JTG over the top rope, but Shad clotheslines Kidd out. He turns around into a DH Smith Saito Suplex for the 1-2-3. Your winners as a result of a pinfall, The Hart Dynasty.

Backstage, John Morrison is in Teddy Longs office. They are interrupted by Vickie Guerrero and Eric Escobar. Vickie convinces Teddy to put Eric in a championship match. Teddy caves.

CM Punk cuts an in-ring promo and he has a friend. There’s a large man with tattoos and a skull cap standing behind him. Punk introduces him as Luke Gallows. He used to be Festus. He says that he helped reform Gallows. Punk has a copy of the Jeff Hardy DVD. He says it’s worse than any drug, or alcohol. He gets interrupted by Matt Hardy. They’re apparently having a match.

Matt Hardy vs. CM Punk
Decent free-tv match. Endgame: Matt hits the double leg drop on Punk, turns his back to Gallows who yanks him down. The ref rings the bell. Your winner as a result of a disqualification, Matt Hardy. Post-match, Punk and Gallows continue the beat-down on Hardy.

We see a recap of Michelle McCool and Layla picking on Mickie James. Josh is backstage with Mickie. She says she’s not going anywhere.

Batista vs. Kane in a #1 Contenders Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Typical big man vs. big man match. All punches, kicks, throws, chops and slaps. Endgame: Both men are out of the ring when Batista hits Kanes knees with a chair. He’s behind the security barricade so the ref can’t see. Kane can’t get back into the ring before the 10 count, and the ref rings the bell. Your winner, as a result of a countout, and new #1 Contender, Batista.

Eric Escobar vs. Intercontinental Champion John Morrison in a title match
Action inside and outside the ring. Both guys get in some impressive offense. Endgame: Morrison nails Escobar with Starship Pain for the 1-2-3. Your winner, and still Intercontinental Champion, John Morrison. Post-match, Guerrero yells at Escobar in the middle of the ring. She slaps him, and tells him that they’re through.

After an ad-break, Escobar and Vickie are backstage and they make it official, they make each other sick. They break up, and the world weeps.

Chris Jericho vs. The World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker in a non-title match
Batista joins Todd and Matt on commentary, and says nothing the entire time. Taker gets in all the early offense. Tense moment as mid-match, Batista stands up and distracts Undertaker. Jericho takes advantage of the distraction, and takes control of the match. Taker eventually recovers though, and the two go back and forth until the end. Endgame: Taker gets Jericho up for the Tombstone Piledriver, Batista enters the ring, and chop blocks Taker. The ref rings the bell. Your winner as a result of a disqualification, The Undertaker.

Post-match, Jericho nails Taker with a Codebreaker, and exits the ring. Batista enters and bashes Taker with a chair several times.
