We begin with Batista cutting an in-ring promo. Good heel stuff from him, as he asks for (and receives) a spotlight to show us what his new attitude is all about….him. He runs down Rey, fans, The Undertaker.

CM Punk and Luke Gallows vs. R Truth and Matt Hardy
Pre-match, Punk cuts an in-ring promo. He says the line of the night, “Do yourselves a favor, and pay attention”. He has a copy of the Jeff Hardy DVD. Suffice it to say, he’s disturbed that its selling so well. On his way to the ring, Matt Hardy passes out the Jeff Hardy DVD. Just as Truth asks the crowd, “What’s up?”, he clocks Punk with the mic. Back and forth all the way. Truth takes most of the punishment here, until a hot tag to Hardy. Endgame: Gallows blind tags himself in, kicks and hits the “12th Step” on Hardy for the 1-2-3. Your winners as a result of a pinfall, CM Punk and R Truth.

In Teddy Long’s office, Eric Escobar, Vickie Guerrero and Teddy share a moment. Vickie orders Escobar to wrestle Chris Jericho tonight.

Backstage, Mike Knox and Kane share a moment. They like beating each other up, and tonight they have a rematch.

Eric Escobar vs. Chris Jericho
Halfway through, Vickie interrupts and makes this a handicapped match. She brings in Big Show. He makes his way to the ring, and destroys Escobar. Endgame: Show shoulder tackles and gives Escobar the Final Cut. He tags in Jericho who puts on the Walls of Jericho. Escobar taps.

Your winners as a result of a submission, Jeri-Show. Post-match, Jericho cuts an in-ring promo on DX.

Drew McIntyre is in the ring, and he calls out John Morrison. He comes out dressed as William Wallace, complete with kilt, sword, shield, and face paint. I’m not sure, but I think Morrison accidentally cuts himself with the sword over his left eye. The two exchange words as Morrison speaks in a Scottish accent. It ends with punches, and Drew retreating outside the ring.

Kane vs. Mike Knox
Big man vs. big man match. Endgame: Kane choke slams Knox for the 1-2-3. Your winner as a result of pinfall, Kane.

Maria and Mickie James vs. Michelle McCool and Layla in a divas tag team match. Maria gets most of the punishment here, until a hot tag to Mickie. Endgame: Mickie shoves Layla into Michelle, knocking her off the apron, and rolls up Layla for the 1-2-3. Your winners as a result of a pinfall, Maria and Mickie James.

Rey Mysterio vs. Batista in a street fight
Dave beats Rey from pillar to post in this one. Rey gets in some token offense, even connecting with the 619 and springboard leg drop. He nails Batista with the chair a couple times, but Dave no-sells it. Endgame: Batista whacks Rey with a chair, and drops him for the 1-2-3. Your winner as a result of a pinfall, Batista.

Post-match, Dave wraps the chair around Rey’s neck and climbs the ropes. Just as he’s about to jump, the lights go out, the gong resonates, and we all know what that means. When the lights come on, Rey is gone, and The Undertaker is in the ring. He attacks Batista and grabs a chair. Just as he does, Batista retreats.
