Tonight we emanate from beautiful Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Chris Jericho vs. John Morrison.
Pre-match, Jericho cuts and in-ring promo. WOW. His face looks like he took a punch from Mike Tyson. Oh. Morrison’s first offensive move is a slap to the bruise on Jericho’s face. They are interrupted by Drew McIntyre. He takes a seat ringside. The match itself is good for free TV. Endgame: After Morrison gets distracted by McIntyre, he turns into a Codebreaker from Jericho for the 1-2-3. Your winner as a result of a pinfall, Chris Jericho. Post-match, McIntyre steps on Morrison’s face.
CM Punk and Luke Gallows come to the ring to save another soul. They pick another obvious plant. His name is Trevor, and he gets the same treatment as the guy last week. He gets his head shaved.
CM Punk and Luke Gallows vs. Matt Hardy and The Great Khali vs. Cryme Tyme vs. The Hart Dynasty in a fatal four way match to determine the #1 Contender to the Unified Tag Team Championship.
All eight men get involved somehow. Endgame: Gallows hits the 12th Step on JTG for the 1-2-3. Your winners as a result of a pinfall, CM Punk and Luke Gallows. Post-match, a newly shorn Trevor joins the winners in the ring.
Backstage, Matthews tries to interview Batista, who doesn’t want to talk.
The Undertaker cuts an in-ring promo. He says whoever wins tonight’s cage match will not survive at the Survivor Series PPV. He talks about Shawn Michaels and their Wrestlemania match last year. He will be at Raw on Monday to answer HBK’s challenge to a rematch personally.
Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James in a Divas Match.
Beth is trying to get revenge for Mickie’s actions last week. She is in charge for most of the match. Endgame: Beth ties Mickie up in a Tree of Woe, and won’t stop kicking her. The ref rings the bell. Your winner as a result of a disqualification, Mickie James. Post-match, Team Lay-Cool arrives and continues the beat-down on poor Mickie. She does have some fight in her, but McCool eventually nails her with the Faith-Breaker.
Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler.
Very long match. Endgame: Kane Chokeslams Ziggler for the 1-2-3. Your winner as a result of a pinfall, Kane.
Batista vs. Rey Mysterio in a Steel Cage match to determine the #1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship.
Mysterio tries several different ways to escape, even using Batista as a step-ladder at one point to climb the cage. Endgame: Rey climbs over the cage as Dave tries to exit through the open cage door. Rey then kicks the door closed right into Batista’s face. Rey drops to the floor first. Your winner as a result of a cage exit, Rey Mysterio. He will now face The Undertaker at the Royal Rumble PPV.
