This episode of Raw features DX in a six-man match vs. The Miz, The Big Show and co-host Jon Heder. Plus, WWE Champ Sheamus is in action against Evan Bourne. Also, The Undertaker answers Shawn Michaels’ Wrestlemania challenge. All this, plus a whole lot more. Tonight we emanate from Knoxville, Tennessee. We begin with Mr. McMahon cutting an in-ring promo. He runs down the fans, and compares Bret Hart to chewing gum and gangrene. He says that the fans made the decision to not have Bret come back to WWE. He gets interrupted by the gong of The Undertaker. He enters the ring and tells Vince that it’s his time now. Taker says he was there 12 years ago and saw the whole Montreal screw-job. He calls Vince a coward, and Vinny-Mac retreats. The Dead Man says he wants to deliver HBK’s challenge personally. Out comes Shawn Michaels. Taker says he has nothing to prove to Shawn and his answer is no. Taker says if Shawn feels he can beat him, he will give him that opportunity tonight. Shawn: “No!” He wants to beat Taker at Wrestlemania. He says he will win the Royal Rumble instead, and will face him at WM. The two have a brief face-off, and Taker retreats.
WWE Champion Sheamus vs. Evan Bourne in a non-title match. Backstage, HBK and HHH share a moment. HHH wants to talk to Shawn. They get interrupted by co-host Don Johnson. Apparently, the other co-host Jon Heder, is missing. Johnson sees someone with an orange wig, white and black “Vote for Pedro” ring t-shirt, and goofy glasses and mistakes him for Heder. Turns out to be Carlito in disguise.
Jack Swagger vs. Mark Henry in an over the top rope challenge. Backstage, a black limo pulls up and the Bella Twins get out with co-host Jon Heder in tow. Heder talks to a mystery person inside the limo, and says, “Don’t come out until I tell you.” After ad break, Johnson, Heder, and the Bella Twins come the ring. They cut an in-ring promo. Johnson plays face, while Heder plays heel. Heder turns on the crowd by talking about how awesome the new USC coach is. Speaking of awesome, he introduces his good friend, The Miz. He compares Tubbs to MVP. This prompts MVP to appear at the ramp. He apologizes to the WWE universe for having to put up with Napoleon Dynamite and his buddy Pedro. (HEY!) MVP says at the Royal Rumble, he’ll throw Miz over top rope. In fact, he wants to throw Heder out too, right now! Just as he approaches the ring, The Big Show comes out and drops MVP with one punch. Show gets in the ring, and hi-fives Heder, who makes a match tonight. DX will take on The Big Show and The Miz.
John Cena and Kofi Kingston vs. Legacy. Backstage, Hornswoggle challenges Heder. HHH makes tonight’s match a six-man. Heder will join Miz and Show, and HSG to join DX.
Maryse and Alicia Fox vs. Gail Kim and Eve Torres in a Divas tag team match. Backstage, Don Johnson, Kelly Kelly, The Miz, and The Big Show share a moment. Heder is having second thoughts, but the Miz and Show convince him it’s going to be OK. They present him with a blue feather adorned ring robe emblazoned with the words “The Flame” on the back. Mr. McMahon and HHH share a moment backstage. Hunter wants Vince to call out Bret Hart. HBK joins in and HHH says he still wants to talk to him. Hornswoggle joins the fun, and the segment ends with HHH giving HSG a piggy back ride.
Randy Orton vs. Chris Masters. We learn that next weeks guest hosts will be “psyche” co-stars James Roday and Dule Hill.
The Big Show, The Miz, and “The Flame” Jon Heder vs. The Unified Tag Team Champions DX and Hornswoggle in a six man tag team match. Post-match, HHH finally talks to Shawn and says his Royal Rumble plan won’t work. Just as he's about to enlighten us as to why, they are interrupted by John Cena, who says he has a major announcement. He says he is in the Rumble match. Show climbs back into the ring and says HE is in the Rumble match too. He attacks DX, and Cena knocks him out of the ring. DX then throws Cena over the top rope. Just as they celebrate, HHH throws HBK over the top rope. Hunter says that Shawn's plan won't work, because HE is in the Royal Rumble match too. Fade to black, good night from Knoxville.
