Tonight we emanate from beautiful Kansas City, Missouri.

We begin with Chris Jericho cutting an in-ring promo. He gives us a history lesson, reminding us how he beat Stone Cold and The Rock on the same night, and Shawn Michaels in a ladder match. He brags about beating The Undertaker last week. He proclaims how he’s going to win the Elimination Chamber match. He gets interrupted by Edge. He tells Jericho that he’s not as good as he says he is. Jericho tells him to stay away from him after he wins the Chamber match. Edge gets a little angry, and just as he does, the lights flicker, and Edge spears Jericho.

Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler.
Drew McIntyre looks on at ringside: Endgame: Kane choke slams Ziggler for the 1-2-3. Your winner as a result of a pinfall, Kane. Post-match, McIntyre tries to attack Kane who’s ready for him.

In the locker room, Josh Matthews interviews Rey Mysterio. Rey speaks Spanglish, and says he will walk out of the Chamber as champion.

Cryme Tyme vs. Baretta and Croft.
Decent match. JTG does most of the work until a hot tag to Shad. Endgame: Shad hits the STO on Baretta for the 1-2-3. Your winners as a result of a pinfall, Cryme Tyme.

Backstage, Matthews interviews John Morrison. They get interrupted by R-Truth. Morrison and Truth yuk it up.

Straight Edge Society vs. R-Truth and John Morrison.
Pre-match, CM Punk does his whole preachy thing. The match itself is what you’d expect. Endgame: After a lengthy match, Morrison’s ankle is too injured for him to continue. Punk and Gallows attack Morrison and Truth after the ref rings the bell. Rey Mysterio tries to make the save, but the SES gets the better of him.

Backstage, Teddy is laughing at Vickie’s misfortune last week. They are interrupted by Mickie James. She apologizes for the whole cottage cheese incident. Vickie tells Mickie that she’ll have to defend her title next week against Michelle McCool, with Vickie as the special guest referee.

Matt Hardy, The Great Khali, and Maria vs. The Hart Dynasty in a six person mixed tag match.
Endgame: Matt tags Maria in, which causes Natalya to come across the ring and pulls in by the hair, and drops her with a tornado clothesline for the 1-2-3. Your winners as a result of a pinfall, The Hart Dynasty.

Backstage, Matt tries to console Maria about losing. They are interrupted by Team Lay-Cool. After some teasing, Matt tells them to grow up.

Batista vs. Edge.
Pre-match, Batista bails out of the ring and before he gets counted out, Edge calls Dave spineless. This causes Batista to re-enter the ring and the two have themselves a pretty decent match. Endgame: Just as Edge spears Batista, the lights go out, the gong rings, and The Undertaker appears and chokeslams Edge. Batista retreats.
