Fedor v. CroCop 2 Possible

MMANews.com is reporting that a rematch between two of Pride’s most notable fighters might be on the horizon in the Dream promotion. The article says that Dream’s officials are hoping to set up a Fedor Emelianenko v. Mirko Cro Cop fight as the main event for their end of the year show titled Dynamite.

The article also notes that “the bout would be contingent on the success of each fighter during the interim. A source indicates that both Emelianenko and Filipovic are expected to compete at least once more for DREAM in the meantime.”

I think that it should be noted that the rematch is only a rumor at this point. Even still, this latest development leaves me wondering where Randy Couture would fit into the picture if the Fedor v. CroCop fight happens. Perhaps he could be the opponent for Fedor before this Cro Cop fight, though there would be a lot of litigation to clear up between now and then for that to happen.
