Strikeforce may not have gotten the sweet deal that EliteXC did for getting on network TV, but they are beating them to the air. MMA Junkie is reporting that the first airing date for "Strikeforce on NBC" will be this upcoming Saturday night\Sunday morning, April 13, following "Poker After Dark" at 2 AM. The half-hour long highlight type show will feature the fight of newly crowned middleweight champion Chung Le defeating Frank Shamrock. The Strikeforce promotion has a 52-week deal with NBC to have this type of show on the network. The show is also going to focus on Le's out-of-cage life, similar to the UFC all access shows on Spike. So far, no plans for live fights on the network on planned.
