One of the reasons that past TUF seasons have been successful is because of the coaches personalities and I don't know if these two would provide that needed spark. Plus, it could mean that neither would fight between now and then. If that is true, then the heavyweight title wouldn't be defended until the end of the year. That would be at least 10 months between title defenses.

Posted by: Russell Spear at 04-18-2008 13:42 I think they are getting really arrogant with their matchmaking, thinking that they can get us to buy anything they put on PPV, even if they only have one fight with actual stars in it and relatively obscure fighters in the rest of the fights on the card. There is absolutely no excuse for them to wait so long in between title defenses. There should be a rule that the champion has to defend his title at least once every 4 months or he is stripped of the title.
