Chuck Liddell is officially out of UFC 85 which he was set to headline against Rashad Evans with a torn hamstring. UFC.com confirmed the injury which had been rumored throughout the day. According to the report, Liddell suffered the torn hammy while training last week. There is no word as to what the main event of the show will be.

UFC has to pull something out of a hat for this show which will take place at the O2 Arena in London with over 10,000 tickets already sold. While the promotion is very popular there, I'm sure that many of those fans already bought tickets to see the Iceman which won't be happening now.

As for Evans, it will be interesting to see if he still fights on the show against a new opponent or waits until this fall for a fight against Liddell once he is healed.
