IFL to the Rest of the MMA World: “Our Rings Got 6 Sides”

Long time Between the Ropes fans should appreciate the fact that the International Fight League is taking a page out of TNA Wrestling and AJ Styles’ handbook. According to BloodyElbow.com the IFL has decided that the one way to really stand out from all the other MMA organizations out there was to add a couple extra sides to there ring.

The IFL’s new six sided ring will be called “The Hex” and will debut on August 15th. The thinking behind this change is that the IFL felt that the four sided ring made their product look too much like boxing and that “The Hex allows for the larger surface that is utilized in other MMA organizations while still retaining the advantages we have enjoyed with the ring."

Wow.. that is just kinda funnyhow they are doing that. Though I am pretty sure that IFL will not be around after next year.

Shhhh! This is the only way they can trick Kurt Angle into getting into an actual MMA match.
